    We allowed this company to rent our RV, it was kept for over a year with only two paying rentals. when we went to use the rv it had numerous problems and showed much wear and tear. The company also failed to pick our RV up at the end of the trip and we were forced to make arrangements to tow it home ourselves. When we reached out to the company owner, Jason R*****, with these concerns he simply blocked us. Numerous personal items had been taken from the rv is well. We are just lucky to get it back in one piece. Please check the Google reviews for Fireside RV rental, Blue Ridge. I wish we had before dealing with this company. There are only 5 one star reviews and they all read the same. The owners' campers were only rented two or three times that they were paid for, but signs of much more use were present (some even claim to have proof of other use), the RV was damaged and when questioned they were blocked by Jason. In our case, after reaching out through other channels after being blocked, Jason stated I could "kiss his ***" and suggested numerous times that i should just meet him to settle this. We were forced to block him and his lady friend to stop the onslaught of veiled threat messages. They even went so far as to call and harass my family members in an attempt to get our private phone numbers.

    In conclusion, Jason R***** of Fireside RV rental Blue Ridge treated us very unprofessionally, left our rv stranded and damaged, refused to do any repairs, blocked us when questioned, did not pay us fully for the times our camper was rented. It is our hope to stop others from being taken advantage of.

    We recently had a former customer, ****** ******, who contacted us about renting out their camper while they moved to ******* Unfortunately, due to the camper’s very small size, it did not receive many bookings, though for the times it did rent, the ******* were paid accordingly.

    We stored their camper for over a year at no charge, even though our company typically charges a monthly storage fee. When we first picked up their camper, it was extremely dirty, had a busted tail light, and was very unorganized. Despite this, we detailed it, repaired its presentation, and kept it in clean condition while they lived in *******

    In addition, we went above and beyond by providing a free delivery to ********* *****—something we don’t normally do, as even our owners pay for delivery since our time and fuel are not free. Later, when it was time to return the camper, I reached out to arrange pickup and was available on the 26th. Instead, they decided to haul it themselves. When I followed up, they blocked me and claimed items were missing. I told them they could come to our farm to pick up those items—which amounted to nothing more than some leveling blocks and a few small odds and ends we had to remove in order to properly clean and organize the camper.

    Upon returning their unit, we again detailed it and provided another free delivery—something we were never compensated for. Despite all this, ****** and his wife have continued to make false claims and slander our business.

    The reality is this: we have over 500 five-star reviews on RVShare, Outdoorsy, and other platforms. A few disgruntled individuals do not reflect the quality of service we consistently provide to thousands of happy customers. Their camper was actually in better condition when we returned it than when we received it, and we have photos to prove it.

    We take pride in our business, our reputation, and the service we provide. We will not allow false statements from one dissatisfied customer to overshadow the hard work and dedication that our track record clearly demonstrates.
