In April 2022 I contacted Mr ********************** re: a drywall project and on May 3, 2022 I provided a photo as requested so that a quote could be provided. The quote given to us was $1100 for the project, including materials and labor. The technicians were scheduled to arrive on 5/19 but we were told they had to reschedule due to illness. They were rescheduled to 5/25, however only one technician showed up who advised he could not complete our project by himself and that his manager was very sorrytheyd be in touch to reschedule. On 5/31 the owner called and informed me that they would not be completing our project despite having provided a quote, and verbal agreement to complete the work as evidenced by multiple scheduling attempts. Their website falsely advertises they can take care of all repairs, and they agreed to our project. It appears the are breaking their legally binding verbal contract to complete this work and honor their quote of $1100. Now a month has passed and our garage hasnt been repaired, and weve missed out on opportunities to have this completed by other competent contractors. We therefore got a quote from Mr ********************** of Canton/Woodstockwhich was 1.5 times the Mr ********************** quote. Its evident the Marietta location simply does not want to honor their own quote. We are going with a different company altogether but ask that Mr ********************** of Marietta (Owner: ****) pay the difference between $2000 we are now paying for a project and the amount he quoted as $1100 (inc materials and labor) and then backed out of without so much as offering a delayed timeline for the project. He simply no longer will honor his end of the agreement. The Canton location quoted $2700-$3000. This $900 payment is therefore a reasonable, best and final, settlement offer before pursuing litigation.
