Honore Development, LLC (Macon, GA) were hired to make certain renovations to our home according to the agreement. Mr. Honore did not visited the job site of this project or managed and supervised the sub-contractors for 6 weeks. Mr. Honore was a no-show on two occasions to review incompleted work and to address our concerns.
Per the contract, all work was to be completed within 30 days from start date of February 8, 2021; however, this project entered into the fifth month with items still needing repair and completion.

The extreme delay and quality of the work performed was unacceptable. Honore
Development LLC, misrepresented the quality of workmanship and timeline for this project.
The extended timeline of this project is a direct result of Honore Development LLC hiring
unqualified or nonspecialized subcontractors and making novice mistakes. Those instances
include, but are not limited to:
1. replacing the laundry room addition roof shingles twice due to the wrong color
2. installation of the wrong brick mortar color due to failure to confer with the brick company who has our brick/mortar on file
3. removing 3 painters on two separate occasions due to incompetence
4. replacing laundry room tile due to demo of tile that was not to be removed
5. replacement of wood flooring due to failure to cover/protect the flooring during demo
and throughout the renovation.
6. Honore Development LLC hired a contractor to replace floors they damaged and in the process knocked over and damaged a $3,000 display cabinet...Honore Development had to replace the damaged cabinet doors and glass. Constant incompetence.

Mr. Honore misrepresented his company as being licensed when after researching and looking up the license number on the Secretary of State license website, the license was actually listed in another persons name.

This is my experience with Honore Development LLC, Buyer Beware!!!!

To whom it may concern , my company did everything that **. ******* request with her remodel even the change at zero charges. The project took longer than expected however it was not totally on my subcontractors because of several revisions. We tried to please this customer but it wasn't good enough to her satisfaction. Whatever was damage or had to be redone was zero cost to **. *******. We completed the job and there was no final walkthrough per the contract. This is just 1 customer no matter what wasn't happy with my subcontractors.

I am sorry for **. ******* inconvenience however the contractor was complete. My company didn't meet the original date because there was numerous revisions to the contract. My company and subcontractors fixed any issues **. ******* stated.

The revisions to the contract were agreed upon by both parties however, not one time did the contractor amend the timeline to accommodate those revisions. When you pay thousands of dollars for a renovation you expect exactly what the contractor states they could and would deliver, not only did I not get what I asked for, the quality of the work was at best execrable. This business uses the cheapest labor possible and the result is poor workmanship. Beware of any contractor that uses the words "not good enough", no one pays thousands of dollars for "good enough" work. There were constant two steps forward and five steps backwards with re-doing work, and days with no one showing up. There was no final walk through because I refused to continue the destruction of my home five months over schedule.
I have since gotten two quotes from to different contractors to correct and finish the work. Both contractors COULD NOT believe the novice mistakes and lack of professionalism this business left behind in my home. The **** ******* website has reviews for this business the echo my review. My regret is not reading them before hiring this business.
