After being ripped off and disappointed by other RV techs who didn't know their stuff or who stood me up time after time, five years ago a friend recommended Man of Steele to me and I have used ****** ever since--in fact it makes me nervous when anyone else works on my rig. He is knowledgeable and efficient in his work, and he is an honest guy who never sells his customers anything they don't need. I highly recommend this company.Review from Joe L

Dan's Service Was 5 Stars at first. His receptionist Rebecca was super sweet and accommodating. Then I got the bill with $104 trip and service charge. At this point I was upset and my rating was definitely at 3.5 to 4 stars. After the email exchange I just had with Dan, I'm sad to say that my rating is at a solid 2 stars. I really thought Man of Steele was going to be different than all the other RV repair shops out there, but in the end, the complete disregard for good customer service was right on par with most other places. I'm sorry you feel mobile services should be free. Again the service fee covers my cost of coming to you. Every single mobile RV repair service has a service fee. I'd love to hear your experience after breaking down at a campsite. Please keep me informed if that happens. I'd love to read their review from you.Customer Response

As I said before, my main issue wasn't the exorbitant trip cost, or the fact that you charge it on top of your hourly rate even when your customer is only 8 minutes for you shop, but rather that I wasn't made aware of it when I booked the appointment.
As the email chain shows, instead of responding with humility and owning this, you said it was "the customer's responsibility to ask". That's not good business and at the very least, it's terrible customer service.Man of Steele LLC Response

Lol the trip charge seems to be your issue seeing that you expand on the fact that you got one and the fact that it was exorbitant. Lastly if I have someone work on my items I ask for prices first unless I'm not worried about the charges. Just like every other person on this planet.Customer Response

Helping or not isn't my concern. I'm not going to sit by and let someone paint me as a villain without rebuttals. That's the problem with people these days. You feel you can just say what you want in hopes of damaging someone with no recourse. I don't care about reviews or stars or what ever the next rating system will be. I know I'm not going to make everyone happy. You spoke your peace and I replied. You keep pushing your side so I keep stating mine. You are the second person out of over 3000 that has had a problem with the way I run my company. I would take those numbers any day. But if you want to keep complaining I'll keep replying.
