    I HAVE A COMPLAINT AGAINST A COMPANY BY THE NAME OF **** TRUCK&TRAILER REPAIR SERVICE, LLC, IN ********, **, THAT PROVIDED A HORRIBLE SERVICE TO A FRIEND OF MINE. ABOUT A WEEK AGO, MY FRIEND, CONTACTED THIS COMPANY TO INQUIRE ABOUT AN OIL CHANGE FOR HIS BOX TRUCK. HE IS AN OWNER/OPERATOR OF HIS OWN TRUCKING COMPANY, AND WHEN HE CALLED THE ***** HE WAS GIVEN A QUOTE OF $130, WHICH HE FELT WAS A REASONABLE *****. ON FRI***, SEPTEMBER 2ND, I WAS TALKING TO MY FRIEND ON THE ***** AND HE ASKED ME TO CALL THAT SAME **** TO FIND OUT IF THEY WERE OPEN ON SATUR*** AND IF SO, WHAT WERE THE ****** I PLACED HIM ON HOLD AND CALLED THE **** ON THE OTHER LINE AND SPOKE TO A LADY BY THE NAME OF *******. I INQUIRED ABOUT THEIR HOURS, WHICH SHE CONFIRMED THE **** WOULD BE OPEN BUT SHE ASKED WHAT WAS I COMING IN TO HAVE DONE? I TOLD HER THAT I WAS CALLING ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE, AND THAT HE WANTS AN OIL CHANGE, AND HE'D CALLED BEFORE AND WAS QUOTED $130. ******* TOLD ME THAT I WAS CORRECT, AND THAT THE OIL CHANGE IS $130 WHICH INCLUDES THE OIL AND FILTERS. SO, I PLACED HER ON HOLD TO LET HIM KNOW THAT SHE CONFIRMED THE ***** AND WHAT IT INCLUDED; HE SAID, ****. I PLACED HIM ON HOLD AND RETURNED TO ******* TO RECONFIRM WHAT SHE TOLD ME, BECAUSE I WROTE DOWN WHAT SHE SAID AND RECONFIRMED THE ***** AGAIN VERBALLY, WHICH SHE SAID THAT I WAS CORRECT. WE HUNG UP. MY FRIEND GOT UP THE NEXT MORNING, SATUR***, SEPTEMBER 3RD, TO TAKE HIS TRUCK TO **** TO GET THE OIL CHANGE. SO, FOR ONE, MY FRIEND HAD BEEN THERE FOR THREE HOURS WAITING; HE CALLED ME, AND WHILE WE WERE TALKING ON THE *****, THE YOUNG MAN WORKING AT THE **** TELLS HIM THAT IT WILL BE $349. MY FRIEND TELLS THE GUY THAT IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT ***** BECAUSE THAT WASN'T WHAT HE WAS QUOTED AND HE WAS TOLD THAT THE OIL CHANGE WAS $130. WHEN THE GUY GAVE MY FRIEND THE INVOICE, HE WAS CHARGED FOR OTHER SERVICES THAT HE DIDN'T INQUIRE ABOUT OR AUTHORIZE, AND DIDN'T KNOW THAT THOSE SERVICES WERE APART OF THE "OIL CHANGE" AND HE WAS CHARGED FOR THE OIL AND FILTERS. THE YOUNG MAN REACHED OUT TO ******* AND ******* HAD TEXT MY FRIEND TO TELL HIM THAT THE ***** WAS $349 AND MENTIONED THAT SHE TOLD HIS "ASSOCIATE" (REFERRING TO ME) THE SAME THING OVER THE ***** THE *** BEFORE. SO, HERE'S MY PROBLEM: ******* PROVIDED INACCURATE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICE AND PRICING AND SHE BASICALLY LIED TO MY FRIEND AND MYSELF STATING THAT SHE DISCUSSED THE BREAKDOWN OF THE SERVICE AND THE *****, WHICH WASN'T TRUE. I DON'T KNOW ******* AND HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO HER UNTIL I CALLED THE **** ON FRI*** MORNING. I HAVE NO REASON TO TELL MY FRIEND SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS TOLD ME TO ME, BECAUSE I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING OUT OF DOING THAT. MY FRIEND NEVER TOLD ME *******'S NAME WHEN I CALLED THE ***** BUT HE KNEW IT WAS HER WHEN I CALLED, BECAUSE SHE WAS THE SAME PERSON THAT HE HAD SPOKEN TO, AS WELL, WHEN HE CALLED THE FIRST TIME. ANOTHER PROBLEM IS THAT IF SHE WAS KNEW THE SERVICE WAS MORE THAN WHAT SHE QUOTED TO HIM AND MYSELF, SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPFRONT AND HONEST TO EXPLAIN THE BREAK DOWN OF WHAT THE **** CHARGES. DON'T DO THE **** AND SWITCH WHERE THE CUSTOMER IS QUOTED ONE ***** TO GET THEIR BUSINESS AND CHARGE THEM THE ACTUAL COST OF THE SERVICE WHICH IS MORE THAN WHAT WAS QUOTED. THAT'S DECIEVING , AND MANIPULATIVE, AND FOR HER TO LIE AND SAY THAT SHE TOLD ME THE "ACTUAL" COST OF WHAT HE WAS CHARGED REALLY MAKES MY MAD, BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A REASON TO BE DISHONEST TO HIM OR ANYONE ABOUT A BUSINESS AND THEIR *****S OR ANYTHING ELSE. I DON'T LIKE BEING LIED TO OR LIED ON. MY FRIEND SPENT TWICE AS MUCH MORE THAN HE NEEDED TO, AND THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF SHE WAS HONEST AND UPFRONT. ******************* MY FRIEND A REFUND OF $219 AND SHOULD HAVE HONORED THE ***** SHE TOLD HIM WHEN HE CALLED THE FIRST TIME, AND WHEN I CALLED, SINCE WE WERE BOTH TOLD THE SAME *****. WHICH SHE TOLD ME THE SAME *****, AS WELL. IT ISN'T RIGHT OR FAIR; WE ALL WORK HARD TO EARN THE MONEY THAT WE WORK FOR TO FEED OUR FAMILIES AND PAY OUR BILLS AND IT ISN'T RIGHT FOR AN HONEST HARDWORKING MAN TO BE RIPPED OFF BECAUSE THIS **** BELIEVES THEY CAN DO THIS. IF THEY RIPPED MY FRIEND OFF, THEN HOW MANY MORE CUSTOMERS ARE THEY RIPPING OFF? THIS ISN'T RIGHT AND I'M GOING TO SEE THAT THEY GET REPORTED. THE BBB IS NOT MY FIRST STOP, AND I HOPE THAT YOU ALL INVESTIGATE THIS BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO MANY BUSINESSES AND PEOPLE THAT ARE DOING THIS TO HONEST, HARDWORKING INDIVIDUALS.
