    My car was stolen and recovered in good working condition. South dekalb towing towed my vehicle to their tow yard without using the ignition key and it sat in their lot for a month. When I picked it up, I was not allowed to see my vehicle until I paid. What I thought was a receipt, was a paper saying I inspected the vehicle and it is in good condition. I had not seen my vehicle at all but they made me sign the receipt I requested the inspection form from the scene when my car was picked up. There was not one. My police report says the car was in good working condition prior to the tow. After I got my car, it shut off before I could make it less than 2 miles to the gas station. My car was out of gas which was understandable, but there was no engine oil at all. It was bone dry. I then found out that my oil pan had been damaged and as I put oil in the car it leaked right back out. My traction control and transmission suffered damage as well. My car was inspected by a professional adjuster who totaled my car out from damages relative to a bad tow or towing a car without the key. Lastly, property that was inside the vehicle was missing from the vehicle. There was a surface pro 7 laptop, canon t6i rebel dslr camera, and PlayStation 5 all in a navy blue ************************* book bag that has sentimental value because it was a gift from my mother.?

    I am rejecting this response because: my vehicle was towed away in good working condition and returned to me with damage that resulted in my insurance companies damage adjuster to totaling my vehicle. The oil leaked out of my car as fast as I could pour it in. If the damage was pre existing it would have been noted by both the driver and the officer at the scene prior to the initial tow as proof so you all wouldnt be liable. Also state ordinance says youd have to include any of tools or equipment used to clean up any debris. Theres no mention of there being anything to clean up once my vehicle was lifted onto the tow truck. 

    lastly the process which you all take when towing a vehicle without an Ignition could very well cause damage to the parking brake, and if lifting it and dragging it onto the bed of a truck didnt result in 5+ quarts of engine oil emptying out of my vehicle, dropping it off most surely did, and even if not that you all had possession of my vehicle for an entire month. 

    I didnt make it off the property before my vehicle shut off, and when I requested a copy of the initial tow report, I was told that because I wouldnt send you all pictures of the damage you werent going to send me a copy of the report. Either there is no report or the report just proves everything i suspect and is evidence of negligence while handling my vehicle.

    On March 2022 South Dekalb Towing were called out by the police officer to tow my GMC Arcadia 2019. Once they arrived, they hooked my car on the back of the tow truck not on the bed of the truck. They secured my vehicle then towed it to my home. The tower arrived to my home to drop off my vehicle. As he was backing up in the driveway my vehicle strap fell off which cause my car to hit the tow truck. It damaged my front framed, my front passenger side and my front passenger side tire. Spoke with the tower and he request us (my husband and I) to call the office and they would take care of it. On April 6, ***** ***** asked for us to send the invoice via email. The invoice was sent on April 06, 2022 with no response. On May 14 we reached out to ***** via email again (No response). Contacted them again on May 19, 2022 (No response). My final email was sent June 23, 2022 to ***** haven't heard anything from them.

    On this matter with the *** Arcadia, the customer car was in a accident Where the ********************** *************** was called cause the car was not drivable and in the roadway. At the request of the officer, the call turned to a private tow, meaning we SDT&T would now tow the car to owner's property upon payment. South Dekalb policies for private tow is that the vehicle towed will be place in front of property. On this matter. the Owner was adamant about placing the car in the driveway.  because the car was not drivable and would not roll due to the flat tire, axle/wheel issues} from accident. After talking with the driver. we learned the car after being released from the tow truck was driven backwards up a slight hill and parked. We Acknowledge our Part, but the quote of complaint was doctored to charge SDT&T for parts and tires possibly done in the accident. Photos show the damages and the cause for South DekalbTowing having to Tow the car from this accident.
