To Whom It May ********* am writing to address my experience working as a delivery driver for Bella's Arrangements on March 29, 2024. I was initially contacted by ****, Bella's fiance, on March 15, 2024, via text message. The message inquired whether I would be interested in doing deliveries for them, stating a rate of $200 for 5-6 hours of work. However, there was no mention of this being a one-time payment or any clarification about the pay structure. On March 28th, **** reached out again, asking if I could deliver for them on Friday, March 29, 2024. Once again, there was no mention of any changes in the payment terms. I arrived at Bella's Arrangements on the 29th at 10:35 am, ready to start the deliveries at 11 am. Unfortunately, Bella was late, so **** provided me with instructions regarding the delivery process, including returning the crates, paper forms, and taking photos of both. I asked about payment, to which Bella mentioned options of either a check or Zelle transfer. It was never explicitly stated whether I would be paid on the same day.I loaded the car with the arrangements and confirmed with Bella that I needed to return the crates and paper forms while taking pictures. I also signed a work form for payment. Throughout the day, I continuously communicated with ****, sending him copies of the forms and pictures, along with updates on each drop-off. The text messages clearly show the time intervals between each delivery and the information sent through the app, including pictures and notes. The delivery route turned out to be more extensive than anticipated, spanning over 200 miles and taking a total of 8 hours and 30 minutes to complete. This was significantly longer than the initially mentioned 5-6 hour timeframe. I encountered additional expenses, having to refill my gas tank twice, which I informed **** about. Despite my efforts to keep him informed throughout the day, there was no response. When I returned to Bella's Arrangements at 7:30 pm, no one was present. I followed instructions to take all the items to the back of the house as requested and left. The following morning, March 30th, at 8 am, I messaged Bella to inquire about payment since I did not receive it on the 29th due to no one being home. Our conversation took an unfortunate turn when I mentioned that I was under the impression that the payment would be $200, as initially stated. However, Bella informed me that I would only be receiving $100, which came as a shock. No mention was ever made about a reduced payment for the deliveries on March 29th. This discrepancy is extremely disappointing and unfair, as it was not communicated to me beforehand. If I had known about the reduced payment, I would not have accepted the job.I am now requesting the full payment of $200, as agreed upon, to cover my time, travel, and gas expenses. It is disheartening to find myself in this situation, as I expected transparency and honesty regarding the terms of our agreement. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and amicably.Sincerely,***********************
