On February, 2021 we had our old decking replaced by Atlanta Deck Pro with new composite decking. During the new deck replacement, it was discovered that there were rotted joists under the old decking which they replaced at an agreed additional cost by us. By September 2021, the areas where the joists were replaced had significant bowing (photos attached). Per our warranty contract, I contacted Atlanta Deck Pros on September 27th , 2021 about the issue. I was told the company was sold but the new owner would honor the warranty contract. On September 28, a gentleman named ****** came out to look at what could be done. We were given a couple of options and we agreed to try s******* in nails to level out the bowing. On October 25 , they came out and drilled the holes but that did not fix the issue and I was told that ****** would look at the deck and come up with a solution to fix. We left a number of ***************** messages in November, December and January to see when ****** would come out to look at our deck. We were given all sorts of excuses on why no one had come to look at the deck. Finally on Thursday February 3, 2022 I told them if the issue was not fixed I was going to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Immediately I was told ****** was going to go to our house on February 7, he did not show until February 8 but we discussed options and agreed on another fix that he promised us would be done on February 9. As of today, February 10 at 4pm no one has showed up to our house as there were issues with other jobs. At this point, we are so frustrated and feel a little duped. This issue has been going on for 5 months ******* cannot trust anything ****** nor the company tells me. All we want is our deck fixed and feel I had no other recourse than to get the BBB involved.
