    I hire this company to dispute charges on my credit report. In *** ** **** I received an email stating that the credit bureaus had taken care of everything no further action was needed on my part. I responded to that email stating thank you very much I appreciate what you did for me and I need to cancel your service. Well not only did they did not cancel my service they kept billing me for an additional 7 months I received a notice for my credit card company that that charge was declined so I went back on my email and yes I had sent an email on *** **** stating thank you very much for your service I need to cancel. I just got off the phone with them letting them know the issue. Their response was all cancellations need to be via phone on a recorded line. Anybody who knows anything about the crap that goes on you take anyone to court you need it in writing not via a voicemail. Beware so my very good review turns into a minus review stay away from them run I was told they don't respond to emails after I get off the phone I received an email that my contract was canceled so do not tell me that they don't respond to emails they owe me $923. I won't get it I don't care just want you to know that they are shysters just like everybody else.

    Hello, The email you are referencing in *** appears to be an automated email that is generated once ********** has completed its challenge and investigation cycle to alert our clients that no additional action is needed at this time while the remaining cycle with other bureaus is being completed.

    In addition to this, any response sent from a client to our automated emails will force a response email to be sent back alerting clients that these automated emails are not actively monitored and that clients do need to call us with any questions or requests they may have.

    As far as the email received after your call with us, this is generated anytime a client chooses to end their service with us, and from what you stated above, a written confirmation of the cancellation took place for your records to have on file. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us on ******* *** ** **** and we are grateful that we were able to provide a solution to your concerns.

    I never received an email back from them regarding my cancellation request on *** ****. I simply explained to them that as in most cases if you call to cancel service the company requires you do it in writing. I have never ever heard of a company going by word of mouth it's always been in writing.

    I called safe port law company for credit repair services. I was given all the information and was asked how do i want to dispute the items and were given options. I was told they dispute late payments, repositions and charge offs etc. I was also told they would send out letters on my behalf to stop collection calls. I was told that each cycle will be 45 days and if nothing clears off my report in 90 days I get money back.
    I went ahead and signed up for the program and paid my first 129 May 2024 (billed 7 days later)...
    After signing up with the company I noticed that phone calls kept coming and after the first cycle not one item or late payment or inquiry had been removed. I called the company to express my concerns and was told that I would have to wait 90 days for refund, and they are sending out second rounds of letters. Once again, I waited and continued to pay because of the 90 day rule.
    When the 90 days were up i called back and was told that my account would have to be reviewed for a refund, and someone will call me back in a couple of days. so, when someone called me back i was told i couldn't get a refund because they had removed late payments from student loans from 2019 and removed late payments from a charge off item on a account that had been closed since 2020.
    Now the problem I'm having is my student loans were and have been in good standing and I verified with credit bureaus. my next concern is they stated they got late payments off of a closed account. They stated the credit bureau made a decision to take off late payments but not remove the charge off. I spoke with the credit bureau and they stated its untrue. Why would you dispute late payments on a closed account. I have paid close to $400 and no paperwork has been provided. The company is taking money and not doing any work. I think there should be a legal investigation on company. They even have it set up where u automatically leave a good review.

    Safeport Law requested a down payment of $***** dedducted from my debit card on 1/17/2024
    Moving forward monthly payments of $***** 2/18/2024, $***** 3/17/2024 for a total of $******.

    This service was intended to help remove incorrect data from my credit reports, described as a credit cleanse. I feel that they misled me. I had to speak with two different individuals in two separate departments to cancel this, As they both reviewed my file, the comment from both individuals was close to the same. Stating the results were not what was expected and inferior to other individuals.

    When this client canceled their account they were already well into their next dispute cycle with new results arriving shortly. While they did request the cancellation of the account there was no request for a refund. We have since spoken to the client and queued a refund under the terms of our guarantee. Had the client requested this versus filing a complaint, the outcome would have been the same.

    I hate to be "that guy" but I feel this company is a scam. Taking money for a service yet there is no contact info listed on the website and after I did hunt down the contact email I have never received a response. I have numerous sent emails proving I have tried to contact the business with the last one asking how I cancel the service. No response at all within the past 4 months yet they called me 5 times a day prior to signing up for the service.
