I rented a box truck from enterprise through a logistics company with whom I was contracting with. I ran the contract from July 2023 to January 19, 2024. On the 23rd, I made Enterprise aware I was no longer doing the contract and would return the truck. However, I was not allowed to return the truck to the Enterprise location I originally picked it up from, but had to return to an Enterprise further away from me. This made it difficult to return truck in a timely manner; especially with no weekend drop-off options. I eventually turned in truck on 2/9/2024. A few days later, Enterprise sent a damage claim to my contractor for an issue with the lift-gate. Reaching out to the Enterprise manager, the technician (Quikslik) who worked on the truck on 2/5/2024, Enterprise claims disputes, and the body shop (Quikslik) I received several different answers on how the lift-gate was damaged. Reaching no resolution on the claim, come to find out I was not even charged for the lift gate damage, but was excessively charged for the lease of the truck. Even worse, I was charged different amounts for the three weeks I did not use the truck which is extremely egregious.
