    Meridian tree company came to my property to remove 10 trees which also includes cleaning up all debris. Behind the back of my fence, which is a part of my property, they left some of the logs they cut from those trees left them where I couldn't see them. There were two trees that they cut down to the hight of the fence. I called and emailed them several times. And they yold me they will send someone over. They never showed up. They don't take my calls anymore. I spoke to my lawyer, they sent out a certified letter, they didn't sign for it. They sent a first class mail that one never returned to the lawyer's office. I don't know what to do anymore. I was on my deck when they was leaving and I handed him the check of the full amount. I thought everything was ok from where I was standing. If I had only walk back to the fence and see those logs and branches, I would have put a dtop payment right away. I went back there the Monday, only then I realized what they had done. I took their word when I called the office to advised them what happened. I was told, if the men leave anything behind, they will come back to finish the job. That is the biggest lie, because this is July, and I still haven't heard anything them. I don't even call them anymore. I am 81 years old, and they don't expect me to pick those things up. I know eventually I will have to pay someone to remove them, and to finish cutting down those two tree that wasn't cut down all the way. All these are behind the shed where I couldn't see them from where I was standing. My problem is, I trust people too much. I have never been into any type of situations with anyone.     I am rejecting this response because:

    The office gave us a date and they never showed up.  This has been many many weeks at this point and we have had significant roof damage now in recent storms after the tops of trees that weren't fully removed flew onto our roof.  We have many other limbs that are in the same position and need to be removed - no one has come out and no one returns my calls.

    A price was negotiated over the phone and text for three trees to be cut down and for stumps to be ground. The company came out April 4, 2024 and two of the three trees they cut down fell on three other trees and severely damaged them. They cut down two of the three trees they damaged, but only partially cut down the third largest tree they damaged. We persisted and they came and cut down the third damaged tree a few days later. The ***** grinder came out and ground down all the stumps except for this damaged tree they had yet to cut down. When they cut it down they never sent a ***** grinder to grind its *****. We feel they should grind this ***** because they are responsible for damaged it. We also persistently have asked for a reciept for the work done. We were promised this by the ******* on site that it would be sent to us from the office. We have not received it. We have called, texted, and emailed them many times with no response. I can supply pictures and movies of them damaging the trees if necessary.
