    About two weeks before we were set to move, I contacted the owner of Atlanta Moving Solutions, *************************, on his cell phone to give him all the details about our upcoming move and asked about pricing. He said to email him all the details and that he would lock us in for August 20th. I sent the email as requested. When I did not get a response to my email, I called the office and spoke with **** the next day. I gave him the same details over the phone and forwarded the email that I had sent to *** to him. **** said we were secured with movers for August 20th. Then before August 20th, I sent **** another email to make sure we were good to go and asked if he had any questions. I got no response. On the day of the move (August 20th), the movers were scheduled to show up at 9:45 a.m. Once the movers did not show up at the scheduled time, I called them to figure out what was going on. They told us that they had accidentally put us down for moving on September 20th, not August 20th. They told us that the movers would be there by 11:15 a.m. The movers did not show up until 12:08 p.m. By then, we had moved nearly all of the belongings (about 90%) because the apartment complex only lets us use the freight elevator for 3 hours (we had booked it from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). The movers ended up only moving 9 items. In the process, they broke the bed. They finished at 1:15 p.m. Despite having moved such a small amount of items, only being there a little more than an hour, and breaking the bed, they charged us the full price of $679.80. Two days after the move, I called ***** I explained to him that it was not right that we had so many issues and that we deserved a price adjustment. He agreed and said he would get back in touch with me later that day. That phone call happened on Monday (August 22nd) in the morning. I am writing this on Friday (August 26th) evening. In addition, I have sent him two emails recapping our conversation. I have not heard from him again.
