Date: July 21st 2023 August 3rd 2023 Amount Paid: Originally $5,800 (they did refund me $211.90 as of 9/11/2023) Now $5,588.10 Nature of Dispute: They claimed to have done work on my vehicle that was in fact not completed and they will not refund or answer me. I have called 4 times to their Customer ********************** Headquarters, leaving voicemails each time with no call back until threatening legal action. Since that one conversation the regional manager has not followed up or responded again. When we did speak he said that they have all the receipts for the parts so that should prove they did the work, but my vehicle still leaking in the same places, still stalling and having a new blown fuse when I got it back says otherwise. He said he would look into the security cameras in the shop and get back to me but never has. On top of that the Manager on site was aggressive and rude towards me, and told me that I am not allowed to speak with the mechanic who worked on my car which made me feel even less confident in the work they said they have done. Invoice #: 540-33732 Work listed on invoice:-Diagnostic -Engine intake manifold gasket -Engine valve cover gasket -Carburetor repair (My car is not carbureted)-Spark Plugs -Spark Plug Wire Set (Confirmed was replaced)-Distributor *********** (Confirmed was replaced)-Engine Mounts (2) Confirmed only one was done/ refunded $211.90 for other one not done -Ground Relocation -Antifreeze -Coolant Serivce -Engine coolant thermostat (Removed the thermostat and heat tested it, was stuck in closed position which shows it was not new)-Engine Coolant thermostat housing gasket *********** pan gasket -Oil Pan replaced -Fitech fuel pump -Labor ***** hours (Based off $179.87/hr)I have attached a full detailed account of this experience in the docs section because there are not enough characters here.

      Complaint: 20729410

I am rejecting this response because my car is obviously not running fine as it continued to stall out multiple times after leaving the shop both after the first and second visit. If the person responding had taken the time to actually read my account of events then they would realize that I am questioning the integrity of the shop itself and how it deals with its customers, which is beyond poor. The behavior of the manager was absolutely unacceptable and should be accounted for but they brush past that each time I have tried to address it. Again they may have purchased parts that needed to go on my car but I do not believe they ever went onto my car and the time they say it took to do some installs is beyond unreasonable because I am an untrained mechanic and can properly install some of the items their mechanic either did or claimed to have done in far less time. An hour to replace a distributor rotor and cap? It should have been no more than a half hour. An hour to supposedly install a new fuel (injector) pump that is mounted with 4 bolts? The hoses on the fuel injector pump were not even snugged up on it (which is how I dropped it off and why I don't believe they even changed it out as they claimed to. It is insulting that they keep thinking that they can pull things over like this on their clients! ****************** that I will ever want to return to and would absolutely never trust so why would I trust going to one of their other locations to have their other mechanics try to toy with me as well. Their warranty means nothing if the work was never done in the first place.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

On July 10th I dropped off my van to have the ** repaired, left the only key, and was told it would be ready the following day. I received a call from them before I went to pick it up and they said that the battery was dead the alternator was bad, but I knew this wasn't right because when I dropped off the van, the voltage was ****. Obviously what really happened was they forgot to disconnect my battery while working on the vehicle. I had little choice but to have them replace the alternator but I didn't dream that they would charge me $600 for an $80 part. The following day I went to pick up my vehicle and discovered that my stereo, speakers, generator, and other miscellaneous items had been stolen. I immediately called and asked where my stuff was and was told 3 other vehicles had also been broken into. They asked me for a list of the stolen items which I provided. They assured me that they would take care of everything, but after several weeks of repeatedly calling them and being told the manager wasn't in, it was obvious they were avoiding my calls. I made a trip down there and was told the same thing that the manager wasn't in. They still have never once called me back, and I have not been reimbursed a *****. To add insult to injury, I was so upset when I noticed my stuff had been stolen that I forgot to tell them that the ** wasn't even working still, after having paid them nearly $3,000 for the repair. I have made a police report for whatever good it did. I also requested and had to pay $5 for the police report they made which didn't even mention any other vehicles having been broken into. I expect them to reimburse me $4,000 for my property, refund the $600 I was charged for an alternator that was bad due to their negligence, the $3,000 for the ** repair that they did not fix, and $3,000 for the jobs I lost.

I am rejecting this response because:
They are not accepting any responsibility for all the items that were stolen out of my van while they had the keys they lied about leaving my van ***** for 3 days that never happened they're not accepting any responsibility for the alternator that they fried they said they would take care of all the items stolen out of my van and now they're saying they're not responsible when the van was on their property and they had the only keys to it ***** was no broken windows or broken locks which means they either left it open or somebody that works ***** stole all my tools they're not offering to refund any of the money that I spent to not get my air conditioner fixed they dodged me on the phone for weeks and still have not contacted me to resolve anything I find it pretty sketchy that their police report did not state any cars were broken into when they told me that three other cars have been broken into including my van so now I'm not satisfied with the outcome

I had taken my car in for servicing to ******* Auto Shop on Raintree for the first time on August 24 2023. My car broke down twice after visiting ******* and was left in worse condition, causing me to remove my car from their lot & transfer to ********** of ******* for appropriate fixing. While with VW of *******, they found faulty mechanical work upon arrival. I also have photo evidence. 1. My vehicle is a 2018 ********** Tiguan. This make and model has an extended warranty for its fuel injector harness. I was unaware of this - I moved from ******* to ********** in January of 2023. The warranty was officially extended by ********** in April 2023. Additionally, I purchased this car used, so the *** was under a separate owner. My first complaint against ******* is that they did not catch this warranty extension and / or notify me of the warranty extension. *****, a man who works at *******, confirmed that they have a system that searches for warranty's. This was either negligence or concealment. I could have had this vehicle fixed for free of charge from my local dealer had they informed me. 2. The dealer claims that there was fault stored from having the manifold taken off. The dealer has photo evidence. 3. Non OEM hardware clamps were used by ******* during the reinstallation of the intake manifold. 4. Vacuum lines were misrouted by ******* incorrectly causing a kink in one of them. 5. ******* used worm clamp style for the spring clamps, so the line had two clamps when it should have just been one. 6. Bolts that ******* used are not OEM style bolts that are standard and should have been used. ******* had more than one opportunity to fix the issues / find the warranty. My car was clearly unsafe to drive and the issue remained unresolved. I was billed $1,714.88 for my services with ******* autopark. My car not only was not fixed, but it was returned to me worse than it started. I requested a full reimbursement, but ******* has denied my request.

On July 11, 2023, I had my car towed to Pride Auto Care after it failed to stay started. On July 12 I called to confirm they had received the car. On July 13 I called for an update and was told they hadnt had a chance to look at it yet and that someone would call me back. On July 14 I called and was told they still hadnt looked at it. An hour or so later ***** called and told me the engine was done for, they would need to do an engine swap. He told me that he would start calling around to find a used engine. On July 18 I called and ***** told me that the person who was making the calls wasnt in, but that he'd follow up and call me back. On July 26 I called, left a message but no one called back. On July 27 I called and ***** told me they were still waiting to hear back from vendors. On July 28 I called for an update, they said they still hadnt found an engine. On August 10 I received a text telling me that I need to move my vehicle if we aren't going to do the engine. I immediately called because I hadnt been informed that they had found an engine, nor had I received an estimate for the cost of replacing it. ***** said that he thought he had emailed me the estimate back in July but that they had experienced technical difficulties so perhaps it never got sent. I asked him why he never mentioned it during any of my calls to him. He blew me off saying, "well I'm not sure what happened but this is where we are now". On August 12, I was emailed the estimate for $6418.06 to replace the engine. I could not afford to spend this amount on an engine when the car was not worth that amount. On August 16, 2023 I had the car towed to BG Automotive for a second opinion. On August 17 BG mechanic ****** told me the car started right up and wondered why I had it towed instead of driving it here. He performed a diagnostic and told me it didnt need the engine replaced, it just needed several repairs because of the age and high mileage.

I dropped off my 2013 Dodge Durango for repairs to Service Street on 8/21/23. I explained that the check engine light had been on for a long time and that my vehicle was not accelerating the way it previously had. ***************************, the manager, called me back and said I needed a new transmission. I had already taken my vehicle to two other places for estimates prior to Service street, but no one ever mentioned that I needed a new transmission. Desperately wanting my vehicle fixed quick so that I wouldnt have to continue paying for a rental vehicle while waiting for repairs, I quickly agreed to it. On 8/23, I received a text from Service street informing me that my Durango was ready for pickup. I was told that they test drove it and that it was running smoothly. As soon as I paid and backed out, I immediately noticed that the check engine light still lit up (the main issue I wanted fixed) and it was riding the exact same, if not worse, while I was still driving out of their parking lot. Since then *** had further issues with the battery completely dying, AAA having to come replace it, the dashboard blinking, the key FOB no longer works. I dont know what they put inside my vehicle, but it clearly affected my battery. The prior battery I had in the Durango was not that old. I have called and visited this location several times since picking up my Durango on the 23rd, but have not gotten any of my phone calls returned. I would like to schedule a time to get my vehicle fixed once and for all. I want the issues that I initially asked them to figure out fixed.

      Complaint: 20558997

I am rejecting this response because:

On the morning of 8/21/23, I dropped off my 2013 Dodge Durango at Service Street located off of Executive park drive for TWO issues. I told them that the check engine light has been on for over a year, to find out why, and to fix it. I informed them that the Durango was riding rough and not accelerating the way it previously had even when pressing the gas pedal all the way down.

The manager, ***************************, called me later that day and said I needed a new transmission and gave me an estimate. I told him I would like the vehicle as soon as possible since I was also paying for a rental car while the Durango was getting repaired at their shop. He texted me on Wednesday, 8/23, that it was ready for pickup. After I got off work, I drove over to pick it up. ******* said it was running smoothly, that they test drove it, and that it was a great truck. Once I paid $5215.66, backed out of my parking spot and drove off, I did not notice any difference whatsoever from how it rode prior to dropping it off there. I immediately called up **************** back extremely upset saying that nothing was done to my vehicle because the check engine light was still on and it still rode the exact same way, if not worse, than when I dropped it off. He told me to bring it back and that it is 100% guaranteed. I did not have time to bring it back because of work. I am a single mom and had to leave to pick up my daughter. I was not able to bring it back until Friday evening when I called over there very upset again regarding how poorly my vehicle was running. The tech who answered the phone said to bring it back. I brought it back the very next day, which was Saturday 8/26. I explained the situation all over again, was told not all of the techs were in, and to bring back (the week of the 28th). On the morning of Wednesday, August 31st, my vehicle started honking repeatedly while still parked inside of my garage for no reason. It had never done that before and it took forever to shut it off. When I looked through my window, there was a message on the dashboard saying remote ignition is disabled. I did not touch any settings on anything. Also, the key FOB to my Durango no longer works. Before I dropped it off  at Service street, it worked perfectly.

I drove up there on 8/31, (the same morning my Durango started all of the honking) and spoke with **** about my vehicle issues that were never fixed and how its running much worse since leaving their auto repair shop. He looked up my information on his computer, printed out an invoice for me, and told me the manager would get back to me, and that he would be back on Friday. That same evening 8/31, my vehicle would not start at all in my own driveway, the dashboard was flickering on and off really fast while simultaneously making clicking sounds underneath my hood. (I have a video of what it was doing). I called up ***. When the *** tech arrived and looked at what was going on with my dashboard, he said he had never seen anything like it. I had never seen anything like it either until after Service street worked on my vehicle. I have a video on my phone. It was recorded on 8/31. *** tech pulled out my battery and said, whatever that place put inside your vehicle completely drained your battery! Also, the key would not come out of the ignition while clicking noises underneath the hood were happening. I ended up having to pay *** $312.44 for a brand new battery when my previous one was not old.that was completely drained. After starting up the Durango with the new battery, the check engine light still remained turned on and it still rode rough. I again contacted Service street very upset, crying this time about my vehicle being really messed up and left a message again for the manager to call me. I did not get a response.

I contacted Service street again on 9/1 to speak with the manager, but they said he was at an appointment and probably would not be back because of the long weekend.
I spent $5,215.66  for the Durango to two repairs and it was not repaired at all. In fact, it rides worse and there have been additional issues with it since picking it up from Service street. I am upset because I am not getting my calls returned to schedule a time to get all of this resolved because my vehicle is still not safe to drive. The transmission that was put into my vehicle is clearly worse then my previous one and did something to the rest of my vehicle for my battery to completely die and for the key FOB to no longer work. Also, I had my vehicle at a two other repair shops for estimates prior to going to Service street and neither of them mentioned anything about needing a new transmission and the quotes they gave me to fix the check engine light were nowhere near $5,215.66! I just wanted two problems fixed and they were not.

9/7 called and spoke with ******* and said Id be bringing in the Durango back on Friday

9/8 Took the Durango back to their shop and spoke with *******. He said, stick around, you spent a lot of money here, and well get you out of here within a couple hours. I told him I did not have the time to hang around for a couple of hours. I had to rent another vehicle from Enterprise out of my own pocket. He had one of his workers drive me over to Enterprise. ******* called me back later that same day and said the battery was completely dead and causing the issues. I asked how could that be since it was just replaced by *** on 8/31? I had already written him a note providing him with that information and in the Better business bureau report that I submitted on 9/5. I believe that whatever they put inside of my vehicle has caused so many problems since it drained not only my last battery, but my brand new one from *** as well.

9/11 still paying for a rental vehicle since Friday out of my own pocket because Service street did not fix the issues with my vehicle in the first place

9/12 picked up the Durango. ******* said it was the battery causing all of the issues. I again explained to him that it could not have been a dead battery because *** just installed a brand new one on 8/31. He said it was defective, that they had removed it, and installed their own. I have been a loyal customer with *** for 17 years and they have never let me down. I am certain *** did not give me a defective battery. I watched him take it out, install, and test it. *** tech said whatever that shop (Service street)  did to your vehicle completely drained your battery all the way down! ******* still insisted it was the battery causing all of the problems. I drove back to service street 20 minutes after picking up my vehicle for the second time and told ******* that the check engine light was still on which is the MAIN issue that I went in to get resolved in the first place! I am very, very upset with this company and have been beyond patient. They have seen me in their office several times, received several of my phone calls, and would not return any of them to schedule a time for me to bring it back. ******* said he returned my calls, but he did not, and nor did he leave me any voicemails. He said he did not appreciate me going through to BBB. Well, I do not appreciate not having my vehicle fixed the first time, having my vehicle ride the exact same way it did when I initially dropped it off on the 8/21 with the check engine light still on after service street inspecting it TWICE. I asked for his supervisor name and he said ******. He said he would have ****** call me back that day. It is 9/14 and I still have not heard from ******. ******* told me to come back on my day off to check out whats causing the check engine light to remain on.This will be my THIRD time having them try and fix my Durango for TWO issues that were not fixed. My issues were not resolved and I would like a full refund. In addition, I had to pay Enterprise to rent from them a second time because Service street did not fix my vehicles issuesand still have not.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

      Complaint: 20558997

I am rejecting this response because: BOTH of the responses from Service street were completely false! PLEASE INVESTIGATE the Service Street located off of ************** drive in ********* with the name *************************** on the door. Watch all of the videos, listen to all of the phone conversations if thats possible, ****** and read ALL of the one star reviews from 2023 since *************************** has been managing that location since the beginning of this year. You will need to dig a little bit since its been made to not be as visible as the other locations around here, but it is all there. A man named **** used to manage that location and the customers were very loyal and pleased with him. Now, read all of the reviews from the beginning of 2023. This is when *************************** took over and shady things have been happening in that shop ever since.

I laid out the facts, (the ******* in my original complaint and response, but here we go again since they have sent yet another response which is anything, but true. I brought in my vehicle for TWO issues. To figure out why the check engine light was on, to fix whatever was causing it to be on so that it would shut off. My second issue was that my vehicle was not accelerating like it had in the past even when pressing the gas pedal all the way down. I did NOT tell them to check my transmission since the two shops I had taken my vehicle to prior to Service Street never mentioned a word about my transmission having issues! In fact, their quotes were nowhere near $1, let alone over $5,000!! I was not aware of any problems with it until ******* called me with a $5600 quote saying I needed a new transmission!! I told him it was way too expensive and he lowered the price. I was in a desperate situation, I do not rely on anyone for help, that is just not me. He knew that  I was in a desperate situation, in a rental vehicle while they were doing so-called repairs, obviously a female, and I believe that he and who knows maybe his entire crew, just took advantage of the situation. I believe it was just him though. You will notice that in the most recent ****** reviews just last week, there was another female that felt taken advantage of at that Executive park location, but at least she was wise enough and just turned around and left. I regret not doing the same.

After I picked up my Durango the first time, the check engine light was still on and it did not ride any smoother or accelerate any faster. No change at all. I immediately called back **************** completely irate saying that nothing was done to my vehicle, that the check engine light was still on, and that it still rode like sh*t! He was polite, told me to bring it back that its 100% guaranteed. I told him I could not bring it back.

I am a single mom, had to pick up my daughter after work, and did not have time to drop it off again or to rent a vehicle at that exact time. I expect a job to be completed and done right the first time.  I do not have time to drive back and forth to a repair shop just trying to locate and speak with the manager, *******, who was never there each time I did squeeze in the time to stop in. In addition to stopping by their shop several times, I also called him numerous times, but he did not return any of my calls to address any of my concerns. When I brought that to his attention, he said he did call me back several times. My phone is always on because it needs to be. There were no missed calls or voicemails from *******. That is why I decided to go through the Better business bureau. I needed to get a response as to why they did not fix my vehicle, why its worse after they repaired it, and to plan when we could bring it in so that I could again get it all coordinated with Enterprise rental.

Service street drained and killed my fairly new *** battery on my very first visit there. (that is what the *** tech that arrived on 8/31 told me Service street did). The second time I dropped it off at Service street for the second time, they again killed my brand new 8/31 *** battery! ******* called me up saying my battery was dead and thats what was causing all of the vehicle issues. I asked him how could it be dead, its brand new?! Unbelievable, and **************** took no accountability for it. He tried to blame it on *** saying they gave me a defective battery. Ive been with *** 17 years and theyve never let me down. I also witnessed the tech put in the brand new battery.

I dont have time  to keep responding to these lies. There is absolutely no integrity at this place. The whole FOB story was not true. The issue was never the battery. It was just loose. I drove it over to Batteries Plus and the honest associate that works there popped it open and said that it was just loose. So, the battery was never dead.

I guess well have to settle in court.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I took my vehicle in to have a new Carburetor and fuel pump installed in late February, 2023. Service street installed both the carburetor and fuel pump and shortly after installing and starting the engine the fuel pump broke causing the engine to lock up. The mechanic was young and didn't seem very knowledgeable about these engines but insisted that it was not installation error, it was a manufacturer defect. I got an contact with the manufacturer and they claim that it was installation error. Everyone I have spoken to Has claimed that they have never seen or heard of this event happening, (fuel pump arm break off the way mine broke off) also leading me to believe that it was installed improperly. At 1st the shop seemed like they were very helpful And getting the situation resolved but since the denied claim from the manufacturer they have been denying any fault and still have possession of my vehicle and have not asked me to come pick it up or pay for any work done. Another reason I believe they are at fault. Why would any company want a vehicle sitting on their property that long if they didn't feel responsible for the damages? They are insisting that it is cheaper to completely replace the engine then to try to fix the damages they caused. They also said that they would pay to have my truck towed to a 2nd mechanic to get another opinion but I feel like that is a move for them to get my vehicle off their property and not worry about it anymore so I have not moved the vehicle off of their property. I took my truck to the shop expecting to get a running vehicle back and now they have had my vehicle for over 6 months still not running and worse condition then it was when I took it to them. This company has kept me running in circles for the last 6 months and I'm looking to resolve this situation in a fair manner.

I took my Range Rover to Service Street for a coolant on Aug. 7, 2023. They charged me $1943.46. Upon leaving the location my car warning light came on indicating that it was low on coolant. When I got home I checked and there was no coolant. I called and to took it back. They apologized and filled it. The following day I drove the Range Rover and after parking at my mother's home I noticed that the Range Rover was leaking coolant more than before. I took it back to Service Street Aug. 14, 2023. I was then told the repair would cost $2014.18. I thought it was too excessive and started calling around at other shops. I found another shop that was $1000 cheaper. I called the manager ***** to tell them I wanted my car back. ***** strong armed me telling that they had my car apart that "it is what it is" I had no choice but to pay in order to get my car back. I didn't get my car back til 3 days later. ***** was very rude and high on marijuana. The shop smelled like pot and all other technicians were conversing about the types of marijuana. I left a bad review and I got a call back from the manger and he started cussing at me telling me I had to take it down. I then got a call back from a regional manager and got the same result. Regional manager was very rude, got loud used foul language and also hung up on me.

Dishonest charge, and dishonest repair estimate.Note that I have spent more than $3k across previous services by Pride and was satisfied. In this instance however, they acted dishonestly. My car overheated so I had it towed to Pride. *** called me the next morning to say they would start with a free visual inspection to look for the source of coolant leak. Then he called me back and said they needed to run diagnostics, which would cost around $100. I approved this. Then he called me back and said diagnostics showed that they would need to replace the water pump assembly, costing around $2200 for parts and labor.I found a shop that would replace the assembly much cheaper so I had it towed away from Pride. However the new shop noted that there was a "huge" coolant leak from a hose on the top of the engine, far away from the pump assembly. They sent me a video of the leak, which I'm happy to provide. So they replaced the leaking hose for $250 total, and the water pump assembly was fine, did not need to be replaced. So I was given a fraudulent charge for diagnostics, given that it was impossible to visually miss the leak. And then I was given a fraudulent repair estimate, given that the pump worked fine. I want a refund of the diagnostic fee of $99.45.
