I have attached all correspondence Purchase a tuner for 1996 F350 on July 1, 2021 for $669.65 Had multiple issues with the programming and owner went on vacation without letting us know so we were stuck with broken chip for 2 weeks. Asked for it to be fixed. He played games on the phone. Told him wanted refund since website stated we could within 15 days. He said he would extend time and make it right. Still a piece of junk that causes issues with the truck and is unsafe. Asked if he would reburn so we could sell and at least get some of our money back. He said yes. Got him the information, then he said we owe him another $260 to fix his mistake. Jody Tipton is the worst person to deal with. He only cares about making money and not his customers. We want him to give refund or reburn for us to sell. He won't loose out if he just helps make things right rather than trying to scam his customers more.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/16) */ I checked and the customer received the chip on 7/7 and I returned from vacation on 7/13. I called and talked to him on 7/14. He explained the issue that his truck was running fine but just down on power. He understood that I was on vacation and that everyone deserves one. I talked to him a couple of times since and the last we talked he said the truck was running great and we met his goals of better fuel mileage. He gained 3 mpg, but decided to sell the chip to a friend. I told him it would be $225 for me to write new custom tunes for a different truck. The normal price for that is $300. He was fine with the $225 and appreciated it. No idea why this was filed since we met his goal of better fuel mileage. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/08/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Fuel mpg had nothing to do with it. Wanted lower egts while towing. Since you denied me a refund I needed to find a way to get some money back so asked for clean burn. Then you said 225. You even admitted that you gave me the same tunes as a previous customer which meant you did no work. I paid for 6 tunes then asked to change it. If there are free revisions for 60 days why do you need more money Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/08/24) */ The 60 day reflash for free is for the existing tunes for the 96 truck. The chip needed new custom tunes for a 1999 automatic truck which is why the charge was needed. That should have been $300, but I just charged Mauro ***** ****** the new chip owner just $175 and emailed him the tunes on 8/18/21.
