On 4/11/24, ***************** ***** from A&R Hometown Tree Service sent someone named ****** out on behalf of her company. ****** said he could take the tree down and chop it up and stack it in the back for $1500. He said I could Cashapp him.. I paid the full estimate at 12:41 pm on April 4/11/2024 to **** via Cashapp $************. Later on that day another person named ***** shows up and they continue to work. I told ****** early in the day that I had to leave for a work dinner meeting at 4:00 pm. When I came back home it was dark and ***** and ****** were gone. I assumed they would come back to finish in the morning. I texted **** as soon as I got home at 9:15 pm and asked her when they were coming back tomorrow to finish the job. **** responded the next day on April 12th at 9:20 am. She confirmed that ****** was to come back out and finish the job in her initial text that day. I texted ******. He then told me that the owner, ****, owed him $300 and he would not return until he was paid. I sent the screenshot of the text from ****** to me to and sent it to ****. She responds that ***** is coming back and not to deal with ****** anymore. She said ***** would be back that afternoon or tomorrow on April 13th. She responded to me on April 15th changing her story that she could not do the job without a Bobcat and had ***** texting me promising to make the situation right. She completely stopped responding after April 15th. My dad also reached out to her and ***** on my behalf to try to get the situation rectified. They both told him the same lie that they were going to complete the job, as well. I reached out to her via email advising that I would have seek alternative means of resolving the dispute if she did not respond. No response from her or *****. I had another company called the Tree Guy finish the job on 5/7/2024. Resolution to this situation is for ************* to reimburse me the $850.00 that I had to pay to get the second company to finish it.
