      On July 14th, 2023 we purchased a 2019 ****** ****** with approximately 55,000 miles. There were no check engines lights or other warnings, it did have a dead battery that they had to replace. Within three hours of leaving the dealership the truck broke down completely and was not able to be driven. We were stranded in FL. We did get it back home to collins by having a friend tow it on a trailer. Once home, it seemed to run OK, then a trip to Tractor supply just 18 miles away turned into a disaster. Once again, it broke down and left me in the middle of the road as a stalled vehicle. I had to have ot towed to a mechanic. The hooked up the scan tool and found over 13 code issues, mostly to do with the fuel system. They traced a bad MAF sensor and I paid to have it replaced at a cost of $600 or so plus labor and tow bill. The truck ran ok for about 20 miles, then again, broken down with fuel issues. Come to find out, this truck had a serious safety recall for the fuel pump system that would cause it to small out, run rough, etc... The carfax listed this recall but we were told it was repaired and no codes showed up. I am sure we also signed a piece of paper showing it had no recall currently The truck had never been repaired by Toyota. The truck was put on a trailer and taken to Savannah ****** for the SERIOUS safety recall. This experience was horrible and now I have a truck that has caused me nothing but a headache and worry. As ****** stated, this truck should have never been sold to a consumer without this recall being fixed.

      We had an absolutely awful experience. Ive been dealing with this for a year. We were sold a car where they admitted they failed to do the safety check. The car had issues immediately after getting it. We called they said they were going to make it right which the did pay for repairs. shortly after repairs were made I had the same issues took it back and was told well need a whole new engine and we were told all the issues were linked to the original issue they paid for. I talked to Will multiple times. He would conveniently forget who I was and what was going on so I would need to explain the situation again. That happened multiple times. Then the times he remembered me he would tell me he would talk to the service department and see what we could do or we would see other options and hed call in a few days. I would give him a few days then call back and this went back and forth until around December. In December he basically told me you bought a used car get over it which I explained I wouldnt have bought THIS car had you did the safety check and caught these issues. Keep in mind I was told these would have been caught on the inspection had it been done. Now I get no answers when I call and the few times I went in there hes never there supposedly. *** tried to play nice but this has been an entire year of this with absolutely no resolution and now my calls and attempts to talk in person are being ignored.
