This occurred 10/22/22. We went to get a beer and as we walked in everyone was cheering to ring a bell. My husband rang the bell and THEN was informed that he was buying shots for the whole bar for $150. Hed given the bartender his card to pay for the beer, which is the one and only item we ordered. My husband did take some shots before he realized what was happening, which we were happy to pay for, but they just went ahead and charged us for the whole bar without letting us know before the bell was rang that they would be charging us. Unfortunately, the owner seems to like this system they have going because when I asked for a refund I was immediately kicked out. My husband also attempted to ask but was kicked out the second he brought it up. Such scummy business practices. The owner will try to give you some line about how we were told before he rang the bell and he agreed. They were behind the bar while this happened. I was standing next to my husband. He was not told until afterwards when the shots had already been mostly handed out. Apparently because 10 other people rang the bell and didnt have a problem (per the girl who told me it was her bar) that makes it okay to take someones money without them understanding what they are being charged for.
