    I made a reservation with Pinnacle Cabin Rentals for Sautee **************** Arriving 10/1/21 and departing 10/4/21. The day before arrival one of the daughters of one of the couples I was traveling with (******************************* - i had confused her last name for ******* her moms last name hence why Pinnacle thought she wasn't on *************) inquired as to possibly adding another guest. Based on this call, Pinnacle decided to cancel the reservation without consulting with me first. I could have cleared the last name issue and their request to add another person without my consent. They let a 13 year old ruin our trip. I am alright with them canceling our reservation but if they are the ones that cancelled they should be refunding me the entire amount. Reservation number ******* Thank you for looking into this. I have all the emails if necessary.

    From the get-go the tone set by this company wasn't a good one and by the end it was a horrible experience. We first booked back in Oct 2022 for our wedding weekend in Oct 2023. A few weeks later they reached out and stated that their calendar online wasn't updated yet when we booked and that the price we already got a confirmation for, was now $400+ more. How is that on the customer that the business's calendar wasn't updated and they don't honor their own sent confirmation? After they "spoke to management" they offered a 10% discount off the rental rate, which was still more than what we originally booked it for. We went with that because we needed the size of the cabin. We signed the confirmation and time went on. Months passed and from so many back and fourth emails, their email communication is very minimal and confusing, if any at all, and going back through receipts for the wedding (if you've ever had or been in a wedding, you'd understand all the paperwork and receipts that pile up) we just wanted confirmation so we called to just confirm what the price was. We then received an email stating that they were cancelling our reservation and issuing a refund FOUR MONTHS BEFORE OUR WEDDING!! There is absolutely nothing available in the area where our venue is that will accommodate the amount of people we are needing. While they did give us a full refund, they broke our contract and they left us high and dry last minute. So unprofessional and I've never been so disappointed with a company and it's horrible customer service. Per the reviews, this company was supposed to be great, but this is what we ended up with. If you're debating on going with this company or another for a booking, I'd think long and hard after knowing what we went through and now we have nowhere for our 11 people for our wedding to stay simply because they could make more money with another person booking at their updated full price online.
