    Additional Info:
The following comments provide general information for consumers, and do not necessarily reflect the practices or record of any particular company.

The BBB does not advise consumers on which insurance programs to purchase since everyone has different individual needs. If you are considering purchasing insurance, make sure that the company and its agents are licensed with the insurance department to sell insurance in your state. Be sure that you clearly understand any limitations or exclusions in a policy, know what the deductible is and when the insurance goes into effect before you sign the contract. Make sure to get a copy of the policy or a summary of coverage and evaluate it yourself, without the presence of the agent. After purchase, if you decide not to keep the policy, in some states, insurance companies are required to give you a free look during which time you may return the policy and receive a refund of all premiums paid. This information should be covered on the insurance contract. If not, inquire of the company.

On today, I went into the Georgia Farm Bureau in this **********, ** location and I spoke to ******* in interest of making my monthly automobile insurance premium payment. When I got there, as has become typical, I was asked for way more money than the monthly premium quote. In this past 12 months, the Safe Driver discount was removed. That took my premium up by at least $30.00 from ****** to $153.00 for one vehicle with ** Tags. There is no reason for my premium to continue rising when I continue making regular payments. What has occurred was I asked the ****** location to add in Renters Insurance. I got a quote and the agent said, Youll save because you already have your auto policy with us. Its gone up in slight increments ever since. He LIED. Ever since Ive been subjected to verbal thrashing and arguments and someone even saying that they took my payment one month (November) and took away money meant for my Auto premium to preferentially pay a small premium of renters insurance leaving my Auto policy in deficit. I had no idea. Ever since then, every month they ask me for $175.00 rather than the original $****** and not even the $153.00, transposed payment. I end up getting held up on the phone and waisting at least 30 minutes out of my day when Im simply calling to make a payment for all of GA Farm Bureau to try to research whats going on with my account. (THIS HAS BECOME EVERY SINGLE MONTH) I dont have any added benefit for adding in coverage, rather the employees are using this to mis manage my Auto Insurance Account. At least two months ago, my agent had to call and tell them they changed agent from her to someone in ****** and that was WRONG. Two months ago I had stopped in on my lunch hour and waisted an entire 45 minutes with this calling around and asking How does her payment for auto come up to $175.00. Is someone trying to manipulate digits to pad their own pockets? Adding an extra $30.00-$40.00 dollars a month helps 1 there.
