I put in a maintenance order on 12/10/23.It was raining very hard on 12/9-12/10.When I went into the bedroom at the end of the hallway noticed 1 room had signs of water damage and the Sheetrock was coming apart on the ceiling. I also entered the room next to it where my children sleep and noticed the closet had mold on the walls. Someone from the office called me on 12/11 in at 9:48AM to inform me that someone would be coming in to check it out. I was home and took the day off to be able to understand when the fixes would be done as it takes several days and I work from home. At 2:15PM no one had came to the apartment yet. I went into the office between 2:15-2:25. I explained to the woman at the front desk what was going on she had an attitude with me when I questioned why no one had come into the home as of yet and acting as if this should be taken lightly. I told her and another older woman that the mold in my childrens room is extremely dangerous to a persons health. Right before I left I was told that I needed to wait because there are other work orders that need to be done before they get to my apartment.I received a call from someone explaining that someone would need to come out the following day on Tuesday once the drywall was dry and not wet.I did receive a call yesterday on Tuesday from someone at the office at 11:19AM stating that they would be out with the person who was assessing the water damage.I did not receive an update on when the damages would be fixed. I called 12/13/23 12:10 and again spoke to the same rude woman who I spoke to at the office on Monday. I asked her for an update and She said she would need to call the guy to get an update and when I asked her how much time it would take to get back to me because I was at work and I cannot just pick up the phone at any given time just because shes calling she gave me attitude and said she would hang up the phone on me. My children can get sick from that mold and it can raise health issues.
