    On June 19, 2025, I consigned three home dcor items with the store.On September 19, 2025, I called the store and spoke with an employee named ******. She informed me all items had sold and that I should expect a check the week of September 2324, 2025.On September 24, 2025, I called the store again but no one answered.On September 26, 2025, I went to the store in person. It was closed to the public, but ****** eventually let me in. I explained my concern, and she showed me on the computer system that my name appeared with a check amount of $28.00. She told me she did not know when checks had actually been mailed and advised me to contact the owner.That same day, I emailed the owner, ******** ******. She responded, stating that checks had been mailed, that the store had checked with the post office, and that if there were any problems, she would notify me if a check was returned. She further stated that their system does not allow them to reissue checks, and while she could manually write a check, the banks stop-payment fee is $25, which would be deducted from my $28 check.I also received an email from Savannahs husband ***** stating...Were sorry you feel that way *******. Since youre sorry you trusted us with your things, I trust you wont be sending anything further for consideration. Just to make sure, I will note your account that we will not accept any future items from you. We will keep an eye out for any returned mail or to see if you cash your check so we know the issue is resolved. ***** ****** As of today, I have still not received any payment. The store acknowledges I am owed $28.00 While the amount is small, this conduct raises concerns about the stores business practices and treatment of consignors. I am requesting your assistance in resolving this matter so that I can receive the payment I am rightfully owed.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

    The complainant was a consignor with us for three pieces of decor, which all sold with a net due to her of $28. We mailed out checks on 9/14/25 and she began harassing our team on 9/21/25 that her check had not arrived. Our manager, my wife, and myself all personally responded to her and let her know that the checks had been mailed, to which she threatened to file a complaint if her check did not arrive by 9/30/25. On 9/29/25 I checked our business mailbox and found her check returned by **** for an incomplete address. It was missing the state - an error in our electronic records system. I remailed the check on 9/30/25. She has since received and cashed the check and we've invited her not to return as a consignor with us.
