      Hello, I was verbally abused by the front desk staff at the center for primary care today * *** 2023 at approximately 745am, they are located at **** * ***** **** ****** ******** *** I checked in and was called back to the window by a white lady with a short hair cut I dont know her name, she asked for my new insurance card and informed me of a 1000.00 balance that I was not aware of. She was snappy at me and said I can set up a payment arrangement, I replied you don't have to talk to me in that tone. And she then said Im sorry, you can contact the billing office do you need the number? I replied no thank you I have it already but just for the record I had **** federal employee insurance as primary and aetna secondary. She said okay, you may have a seat, in which I did. Then all of a suddent the black lady at the desk with braids, walked to her co worker computer and inserted herself and said can u come back up here and from my seat in the waiting room, I replied no I am not coming back up there because I was told to contact billing. So then she started arguing with me from her desk and I kept telling her she will not talk to me that way. After her continuing to argue with me, I asked the white lady for a supervisor., she replied Rachel is not here yet. They hade wait somemore and I was called to the back by i dont know who and given discharge papers from the practice, a request for medical records and a bill. I did not accept the bills. The second issue now is *** billing department is refusing to file insurance on my behalf from previous visits. I had **** *** agent contact them again thisbmorning and the *** billing department is lying saying I never presented insurance since 2018 when they have filed claims and been paid by **** *** in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. I have contacted the billing department several times in 2022 to get claims paid and now since I'm no longer a patient they are attempting to stick me with a bill. I appreciate the assistance.
