I booked an event with this establishment on 21 Aug 2021 for a surprise birthday party for my husband. In spite of some things not as supposed to be per my contract, my guess had a good time, they were not aware of missing red carpet which would have been great photo opportunity, they did comment on the ** that he didn't play a lot of good music unless it was requested & was not enough desserts and baked chicken which ran out, bartender not having liquor that was in contract. Some guests even commented on the pasted wall decorations that they were small, cheap & should have been not displayed. I contacted the owners via text and phone calls to try to resolve this because I feel I should be compensated for these things in my contract that was supposed to be but were not. Mr *** finally called me and spoke to me in a very "unprofessional" way, over talking me, not really listening to me and saying "what is this I hear you upset because you didn't get a piece of chicken and a cupcake" wow!!! He said that I had been complaining and **** picking to his vendors about my party which was not true, I only spoke to owners, I said the place looked great but that I had ******************* from *********** guests. Ms *** who hosted my party that evening agreed that the "red *************** was not put out, like it should have, the ** wasn't playing good music but thought that's what I requested for him to play (he had a play list) she also agreed that some of the guests ask for more desserts but had ran out, i.e. banana pudding & baked chicken, it was Ms *** that brought to my attention about the chicken, that instead of 2 pans of fried & 2 pans baked chicken there were 3 pans of fried & 1 pan of baked. Facts: red ************** were not displayed, I paid for "100 guest" for food, *************** ***************** was not enough desert nor baked chicken for the "55 guests" that were there, So yes I asked to be compensated for items I paid for that were not provided.
