As I am disabled, my son met the owner, ****** ********** at the residence where I wanted the work done on May 30, 2025. I gave my son a list of what I wanted done which included pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning and some repair work, including repairing a small area of the detached garage roof. The first estimate was beyond my budget so the window cleaning and some of the repair work was removed from the estimate. Mr. ********* sent me via email a revised estimate in the amount of $1571.04 and said I would need to approve it and sign it via electronic signature and send him a deposit of $500 before he would put me on his schedule. I signed the revised estimate and sent $500 to the ***** request Mr. ********* provided which was in the name of ************************. I told Mr. ********* that time was of the essence, especially on the roof repair since we were having daily rainstorms. He said he would send someone on Friday, June 6th 2025 to repair the roof. I provided the shingles as per our agreement. He texted me later that day and said he would not be repairing the roof because there was "structural damage" . He also complained that his employee could not access the water source so they were unable to start the pressure washing. Per my previous agreement with Mr. ********** the pressure washing wasn't even scheduled to be done until the following Monday or Tuesday, and I had also made it quite clear to him that someone would need to be there to unlock the area where the water spigot was housed. I was very upset about Mr. ********* reneging on the roof repair was counting on it being done that day also frustrated about the unscheduled pressure washing.I had lost faith he would be able to provide the services he promised and I asked him to void the contract and return my $500 deposit. He refused to return any of my money so I was forced to allow him to proceed with the other agreed upon work. My son called ***** Mr. ********* canceled contract.

Mrs. **** contacted me to provide a myriad of services on her parent's home in ********. From the onset, my communication and follow-up was impeccable. It took almost 3 weeks of emails, phone calls, and text messages to simply set-up an on-site services quote to re/view in-person the scope of the work. She decided to have her son (******) meet with me to walk me around the property. Instead of providing me with a direct list of services needed, she instructed him to 'read' the list to me. The breakdown in communication began here.

The primary purpose of the visit was to view the roof damage to the detached garage, look at the ********, and to survey the extent of the flat surface concrete cleaning. Her son completed a makeshift repair from the inside, which hindered my ability to view the totality of the damage. I shared with him and her that since I was unable to completely re/view the damage, that my assessment of this repair would have to wait until either I or my Technician could get onto the roof.

She/they assured me that only a few shingles would be necessary to complete this task. I responded that this could NOT be determined until boots were on the roof and a direct, close look at the area was completed. I repeated this a few times and Mrs. **** says that she would purchase the shingles.

As a [common] business practice, a deposit is required to confirm most appointments. Especially for services over $500 estimated. Deposits are usually non-refundable. As stated, I provided Mrs. **** with an initial estimate, with two (2) caveats: 1) the Koi pond service would depend on the condition of the pump. And, 2) the roof repair would depend on the true extent of the damages.

She rejected the initial estimate due to her budget, including the window cleaning (We Clean Windows), and the Koi pond action items. However, she wanted to continue focusing on the roof repair. She was adamant about scheduling as soon as possible, so I rescheduled 2-3 already booked appointments in order to accommodate her haste and compressed time frame.

My crew arrived, on-time, as scheduled, and completed a number of services. And, as indicated, a closer and detailed survey of the roof damage was completed. It was determined that not only were shingles needed. But, plywood, nails, sealant, clamps, and other structural members needed to be replaced/repaired. Not only were these repairs outside of my skill set, I did not include this repair on ANY services quote! I intended to, '...replace a few shingles...' at NO ADDITIONAL COSTS.

After sending the pictures and email to Mrs. **** about the roof. The next morning, Sunday, June 8th, at approximately 8:15a. ****** **** called me being aggressive, hostile, and literally cursed me out over the phone. In this instance, the two of them are the same person, because they represent the same interests. I made a half dozen attempts, via phone call and texts, to calm ****** ****, and explain to him my position on the roof repair. His attacks continued.

Now, not the BBB, the State of Georgia, the US Congress, or the President of the United States, will compel me to take the abuse, both in-person, and over the phone that I have taken from both ******** and ****** ****. A couple of days before ******** rant, Mrs. **** called and read me the Riot Act. I was able to calm her down and assisted her with trying to find a waterline that was buried in the yard.

However, after taking it from her son a few days later, I was/am done. I too am disabled. I am a 29-year, *********, 3-time combat veteran, retired, 100% disabled-rated. Being disabled doesn't give anyone the right to be disrespectful. And after giving my entire adult life in service to this country. No one...and I mean NO ONE has the right to disrespect me. I've given too much.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. There will be no deposit or any funds returned, due to services provided.

I am rejecting this response because:

Mr.******** was less than truthful in several regards.

#1. The stated 3 weeks to schedule is false. He told me to let him know when I was ready to proceed. If he had to move his schedule around to accommodate that, that is on him.

#2. Neither he nor his employees provided any services other than to drop by twice and tell me what they could not or would not do.

#3. My son and I are not the same person and I had no knowledge of him calling Mr. ********* until several hours after the fact.  The contract was between myself and Mr. ********** My son was only involved in acting as my legs during the initial appointment with Mr. ********* -which Mr. ********* was more than a half an hour late to- as I have *******************

    Sincerely,

    ******** ****

    Rejected? Interesting.

I'll close with a statement: This is the most responsive Mrs. **** has been in weeks! Maybe if her and I would have been able to communicate this clearly or frequently, she would still be a client of mine.

    Regards and respectfully.

*This will be my final response or reply. I've spent enough time and effort on this matter.
