A new property management company (Parktown Living) did a take-over (thats what the leasing associate in the office told me) in MAY of this year, at the apartments where I used to live (Wynnwood Vinings). That same month the Parktown Living leasing office told me I did not pay rent last year (MAY 2023). Of course, I paid that rent, and signed a new lease the next month (JUN 2023). I have all my bank statements and confirmations (email) of payments.Parktown Living would not back down about the non-rent payment MAY 2023 and forced me to sign a promissory note stating I would pay the MAY 2023 rent in six installments.I refused to stay there with the deceit and unethical business practices.Parktown Living sent a new lease offer on 26 JUN 2024. I had no time to give a proper notice to vacate. My lease at **************** was through 29 JUN 2024. After that, I was on a month-to-month basis. I had to pack my apartment in two days (JUL 2024, *****) and moved out 15 JUL 2024. In doing so, I sustained many physical injuries (for which I will seek justice). My pets were also traumatized. Parktown Living sent a move-out statement which indicates I owe $3K+ to them and I am disputing that altogether. They got to keep my deposit of $1000+.What documents and emails, etc. do I need to provide? Where can I seek justice? I'm looking for Cobb County Magistrate to help me with this and have attempted contact today. I am rating this company with **********- even though that option is not available above.

Where do I begin? Should I begin with the balance they are saying I owe from 2023? Or should I start with the money orders that I provided to them way back on May 15th that they supposedly 'lost" when in reality they were just holding the payments and refusing to apply them to my account because of this supposed balance from last year! I had to get the police involved to get my money orders from them because they kept on lying saying they didn't know where they were, I work too hard for my money. ******************* PARKTOWN LIVING should be ashamed of themselves!! I hope there is a class action lawsuit against them and they are thoroughly investigated!! I am sooooo fed up with this place, I am getting an attorney involved asap. This property management company is doing illegal activity when it comes to tenant payments, look at all the other tenant reviews. You can not refuse payment from a tenant because of a previous balance owed especially if you have continuously accepted payment from them after the fact!!! This goes for LATE AND/OR partial also if notice has not even been provided!!! That is ILLEGAL! Please do yourself a favor and save yourself stress. GO LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE. BEWARE. They ***************** payments and act like they never received them. This place is horrid and in my opinion is going out of business and switching property management companies that is why they are trying to ******* everyone with paying balances that magically have appeared from before! PARKTOWN LIVING IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY, and I will SURELY NEVER rent with them in the future. RUN don't walk!!!

We would like to address these concerns and significant allegations/statements about the Company, but I need more details such as complainant's name, community where they reside, apartment number and specifically, the complainant's record of what is owed versus what the community is saying is owed. We truly want to address this, but I have no way of resolving the issues without knowing the details of the conflict. I have also emailed the complainant at the email address provided to try and get more details.
