On May 22, I went to receive an oil change from Grease Monkey. The following day my car leaked oil onto my partners driveway which we had to clean with cat litter and driveway cleaner before it stained. They also input my mileage incorrectly into the system by about ***** mi. I have never had this happen to my car after an oil change. I returned back to Grease Monkey to have them fix the issue and when asked about a refund I was told to contact corporate which I attempted to do. They never answered the phone nor did they reply to any emails that I have sent via their contact page on the website.

Went in for a car battery replacement on Sunday, October 6th 2024 with a fully operable vehicle (2016 ***** IS200T). The workers installed the new battery incorrectly that cause the vehicle to be inoperable. All dashboard warning lights were lighten up with both steer wheel and automatic stick to be locked. Workers at the time did not know how to fix vehicles beyond oil changes and battery replacements. Vehicle was left in the shop until the next day, where Store Manager did not provide any assistance. Store Manager claimed that the business is not responsible for vehicle malfunction, and that responsibility of towing and fixing vehicle is up to vehicle owner. I returned the next day after researching possible issues with blown fuses. I find multiple blown fuses myself with Store Manager not claiming responsibility, simply stating that nobody at the facility can fix the issue that the workers caused from the previous day. I asked for them for replacement fuses, yet they declined any assistance. Eventually, after several complaints, the manager placed an order for the replacement fuses, but they never arrived. Employee is still insisting that they hold no reliability despite workers informing me that they do not have the proper training in anything outside of maintenance oil change and battery replacement. Vehicle is still in store for 2 days, not functional for driving without any assistance. I still paid $203.39 for the new battery replacement, which has since been refunded. I am planning to file a formal complaint with potential legal action.

On December 31st of 2022 at 4:16pm I visited the Grease Monkey Oil ************** #**** at ****************************************************. to have a oil change, which I paid $65.44, on my 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. After a period of 13 days and 331 miles my low oil pressure warning light abruptly appeared and within the two blocks the motor cut off and with no power assistance to steering or brakes car stopped in a travel lane. A truck stopped and helped push car off road to a safe location. Being a Saturday night after dark I had the car towed to a friend who has several years experience working in the ****************** at new car dealerships and has done maintenance and repairs on this car. Upon inspection it was found an extense oil presence under the car coming from the oil filter that was unthreaded two and a half to three turns from tight. After tightening oil filter and refilling oil an attempt to start the car was made, starter would not turn, engine was seized. At that time car was towed to ******************** were car was again inspected and found to be locked due to motor not having oil. My attempts to contact Grease Monkey have been dismissed as if I was crazy and this is somehow not their responsibility.
