I just moved into Grande Club apartments in ******, **. My original move in date was August 18th and I was told a day before that the previous tenant didnt turn in the keys so I had to push my move in date back. The apartment move in date was listed for the 18th online so I made sure that I had taken care of everything to move in. I had to cancel movers and push back services to accommodate the leading offices request to be moved in on the 29th so I requested that they move me in earlier (August 26th) bc I was already supposed to be moved from my apartment. On August 25th I received a call from the leasing office letting me know that the previous tenant was not clean and the unit had a big problem and they asked could I move in later again one day before my move in date which would again make me have to pay for cancellation fees from my movers and I would have to push the date back. I explained no and that they needed to get it done bc at this point they have had ample time to fix the unit. I work from home and I have to be connected to a modem. On Saturday I provided the ******* to move and Saturday night went back to clean the unit and it was roaches everywhere they were falling out from under the refrigerator and behind the stove and were crawling in cabinets and drawers and out of vents it was baby roaches on the countertops as well they were in the pantry and in the bedrooms and the entrance ways. I texted the leasing consultant ********* who helped me and she stated that she would need to speak to the manager who would be at work on Monday, but in the meantime I was on a two week pest control at no charge. On Monday no one contacted me I had to call them. They asked that I give them until Thursday to go in the unit and remove appliances and to thoroughly clean, however I will be homeless with my children, and its putting my job at jeopardy Ive had to cancel my movers on Sunday incurring another ****** cancellation, my children cannot go to school and even
