      I contacted movers with supposedly good ratings. They packed and loaded a console table without first breaking it down and wrapping and protecting the glass top. I provided blankets and bubble wrap. They never touched the bubble wrap. The glass table top was place on the floor of the truck without any type of protection,
      because they were too eager to complete the job and get paid.

      To whom it may concern.  ***. ****** elected to just use our labor service and provide her own truck and supplies.  Unfortunately, it is hard to assess liability when we are not loading and unloading our own truck setup for household goods moving as well as using our professional protection supplies and having a certified foreman driving the truck.  The customer had us load her truck that was then driven by the customer a minimum of 400 miles to the destination.  Items do shift in the load especially when not using proper equipment or having enough straps to properly secure the load.  I do hate that this table was damaged in transit, however since the load was not in our possession from start to finish we can not be help liable as there is no way to tell how or when the table glass was damaged.  ***. ****** did contact ****** and was offered in good faith $100 towards the damaged table.  Based on the contract if we would have performed the entire move we would have been liable for .60 cents per pound which would have been less that $60 for the table glass replacement.   We were in good faith offering more than our 3rd party claims would have paid if approved.  Contract is attached.

      I am rejecting this response because: the offer was too low for the price of the item and with all of the explanations about not being party to taking complete control of the move, only loading, the complaint is about packing. This table was supposed to be broken down and the glass wrapped. It has traveled from ******* to ******* under the same manner using only loading services. It was previously wrapped. To wrap it correctly is my complaint. I provided all of the necessary essentials for the job. They were not used. That's my complaint. The business needs to double the offer if they are operating in good faith.

      They broke my items. They broke my coffee table, my mirror and picture frame. It was 225.00 for the coffee table and 100.00 for the mirror and picture frame they were trying to offer me 50.00. They also stole items. He was saying that I declined them fixing the items. He clearly stated that he was going to have the items refunded
