I am filing a complaint against Ride Today, because I have been being charged extra and paying for insurance thru them every two weeksfor the past five months, in which they claim they could not provide me proof of! And I was pulled over and arrested on May 31, 2025 because they said in the system, my license was suspended and that there is no insurance on my vehicle! I had been paying them $275 for my car payment and $87.50 every two weeks since December 13, 2024! I also went to renew my tags at the ******************** and was denied, due to not having insurance on this vehicle, in which I had been paying for, for the past 5 months! On May 31rst, not only was I arrested, but the police towed my vehicle! I called impound place and they told me to have the link holder come get the vehicle since they have the insurance! Ride Today went and got the vehicle from impound and is trying to charge me the impound fees and towing fees to be able to come get the vehicle! In which they have been scamming me to pay the insurance for months! And they won't give me back my vehicle! I want my down payment money back, which is $3000, along with the payments I made every two weeks for my car payments and the fraud insurance I paid them, which is ********! Which brings that to $6,987.50! I also have copies of all the payments I made and I have the arrest copy of what I was arrested for and I have a copy from ********************, where you renew your tags, that this vehicle was not insured, including the lapse date and binders since December 13, 2025.Initial Complaint

I am writing to formally report a dealership that has failed to submit the necessary paperwork to the State of Georgia, preventing me from registering my vehicle or obtaining license tags. Despite taking my payment on February 19, 2025 the dealership has not filed any documentation with the statetwo months after the purchase. As a result, I am unable to legally drive the ********** addition to their failure to fulfill legal obligations, the dealership has engaged in unprofessional and threatening behavior. I received harassing phone calls and text messages as early as 7:00 AM on the day a payment was due. Yet, they still have not submitted my paperwork to the state.I am not alone in this experience. Dozens of similar complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) against this dealership in just the past year. The business currently holds an "F" rating and is accused of deceptive practices, including falsely advertising problem-free sales, failing to submit legal documents, and repossessing vehicles under fraudulent circumstances.Given that I cannot register, tag, or drive the vehicle I purchased, I am requesting either:1. Immediate submission of all required paperwork to the State of *******, or 2. A full refund of all money paid to the dealership.The actions of this dealership are not only unethical but potentially illegal. This business is preforming deceptive business practices along with negligence. This business sells vehicles that they do not have legal ownership of to the public. This business effects the public by servicing finance packages for vehicles and misusing social security numbers/ personal tax identification numbers of the public to obtain funds from a 3rd party financing company. All while never having owned or having legal ties to the vehicles that they sell. I attempted to resolve this issue by speaking in person and over the phone with the sales team of RIDE TODAY LLC, county government offices, and legal counsel. RIDE TODAY LLC are negligent in resolving this matter with myself and I continue to get harassed to hand over more money while they claim to have never signed and or have agreed to the purchasing of my vehicle from their car lot. This company knowingly sold me a car that they knew had issues. I have been working on this car since I bought it. When I went looked at the car I was told that there was no issue with the car. The salesman even went as far as to say he knows its a good car and that I will have no problems. Reached out to the finance company because you cant speak to the dealership after purchasing the car and was told that because I bought the car as is then it was my problem. They said I should have gotten the car inspected and I did that was how I was able to te them the issue I was having. And my mechanic told me that there is no way they didnt know about that the issue that I was having with the car before they sold it. He said they cleared the codes and sold the car. Thats not As is thats fraud. Them today the came and repoed the car without telling me it was out for repossession. Now they are saying to get the car back I have to pay them $1450. Two weeks ago I had purchased a vehicle with a down payment of $2500+ the first payment of $500 the following week only for the day that I went to pick up the vehicle the check engine light came on and a week later the transmission was said to be going. I had contacted the dealership which, I was told to TEXT the finance person who was rude and less than helpful and had threatened to secure the vehicle if I did not make my payment and that the vehicle had been sold "as is" which they then,told me that I'd have to pay $1 for a fifteen minute inspection and that the vehicle couldn't be left on their lot. I asked for a replacement vehicle because I travel for work and immediately told me "no" now I'm without money and a vehicle. And still left with a finance payment of $391 this week. I am illegally being overcharged outside of my contract upon purchasing the idle vehicle. I have spoken to the company numerous time showing them my contract states that I am supposed to be paying $275. They are currently charging $200 more. Then what I agreed upon. I have provided more than enough evidence below, showing that I have been threatened and harassed numerous of times for a payment that doesnt go with my contract after looking at multiple reviews I have noticed that this is not the first time that this company has scammed someone out of the money and has gone, against the contract that they have. I contacted Ride today about a vehicle they stated they all cars were 1500 down but said we can work this out when I got to car dealership on 2/7/25 they said I needed to pay next week 300 however after I got car I got down the street the engine light came on and the car was pulling once I got home I texted them and they automatically said it was as is nothing they can do this was on a Friday 2)7/25I kept contacting them then he said text someone they don't answer at this number this man continues to say they couldn't do anything then finally they said they can get the car and figure it out meanwhile I could not work because I need a car to work On that Monday 2/10/25 they picked up car said it would be 72 hours however they just planned to take car on Wednesday 2/12/25 they said if I don't Pay 300 dollars they would repo I work daily and the car was undrivable on ****** review have horrible reviews this company should be closed they are targeting ********** people that can't get a car through a dealership they should be closed I want my money backInitial Complaint

I purchased My vehicle on 10/15/2024. The engine light was on when I test drove vehicle. I was informed the company will fix the issue for the engine light being on. I was told to drop the vehicle off the following week to get repaired . Vehicle was dropped off for three days . Once I went to get vehicle the engine light came back on . Reached back out to company , and they gave me the run around . My temporary tag expired 11/28. I went to the Dekalb county tag office to get my tag, and was informed I couldnt because the car doesnt have an emissions reported . Informed financing , that I couldnt get my rag because emissions was never completed on car, which makes sense because the engine light was on when I got it , and still on . 12/12/24 I dropped car off to dealers mechanic shop , and was informed that I crashed the car which cause the engine light to come on . I am reporting RIDE TODAY LLC. Company is extremely unprofessional and has lied to me on several occasions and continues to harass me on a weekly basis. I was instructed by my attorney to file a Better Business Bureau complaint against this company before taking any legal action. On 8/9/24 I purchased a ***************** from this company in the amount of $17,261.75. After my down payment, my total balance was $14,761.75. Although the purchase date on my paperwork is 8/12/24, I paid down payment on 8/9/24 and was promised compensation for not being able to drive my new vehicle until the following Monday. Never received any compensation of any sort. This company is extremely unprofessional! They do not have a phone number where you can call them and speak with a live person. They only respond through text & whoever does the texting almost never uses professionalism or correct grammar. I would also like to add this vehicle was never detailed, or cleaned thoroughly (as promised). Once I drove it home I noticed that underneath the seats there were roaches and Filth beyond belief. However, that is not my current issue. My issue is concerning an $87.50 fee they are trying to charge me. From the date of purchase, I have maintained FULL coverage insurance and RIDE TODAY LLC is trying to tell me because my deductible was not $500 initially I need to pay them. Initially, I had a $2000 deductible and once informed it needed to be at $500, I immediately changed it the same day causing my insurance to increase tremendously! RIDE TODAY continues to threaten me regarding this fee, they text me every week threatening me ALTHOUGH I have never been late on my car payment. As a matter of fact, most times I pay my car note early! I am a very fair and morally upright person and this company is disgusting and likes to harass good people! Their business practices are unethical and unprofessional. I do not owe them a thing and yet they threaten to repossess my vehicle over this fee.
