I recently went to Olympic auto to purchase a vehicle for my business. The dealer made a clerical error in the paperwork resulting in them being underpaid. Rather than them going back and refunding the loan for the correct amount, and getting a new approved loan they refused, and forced me to pay costs out of pocket in excess of $1000. This could have been corrected had due diligence been done on their end on so many different levels and occasions. Im disgusted with this dealership and owner would not recommend.Business Response

Dear ******* :
After looking into your case we see that you provided us with a document showing you are 100% disabled veteran so that you become exempt from paying the vehicle sales tax of $1326.27. After submitting your paperwork to the county to register your vehicle the *********************** got back to ** stating that you already used your exemption on one active vehicle that you currently own and are illegible to get a tax exempt on the 2015 ******** C300 you purchased and you owe the county the amount in $1326.27.
All this transpired with your knowledge and you were aware of all the events. The fact that you are pointing a finger that our finance department undersold the vehicle and that it was a clerical error is completely false and we do not take your accusation lightly. You agreed and had to pay the $1326.27 to the county to avoid any fraudulent misconception in trying to avoid paying taxes which is a civil offense.
Please govern yourself accordingly.

I purchased a ******** benz September 27th 2022. I paid in full for the gap insurance and the warranty, after I gave the lot 8k total for 3 products I left. The check engine light came on after I left the same day. I told the the dealer who asked me to bring it back. When i did they said that they fixed it. When I left a 2nd time the light came back on. They did not fix it. Instead they just turned the light off... I asked them to replace the vehicle or give me my money back and the asked me to take the car to *******************. For a closer look 1st... ************ diagnosed the vehicle saying they couldn't repair it. The company stopped cooperating and the dealer just took the car back without warning ??. I had the vehicle for less than 2 weeks after giving them 8k. ??Business Response

Her vehicle eventually got repossessed for defaulting on her payments and this is when she made death threats to the company's employees. We stand firm against all violent threats and we will take every precaution to protect our company and its employees from *****************************, we will no longer communicate with her on any platform and we will let the justice system take care of everything

I purchased a 2008 *** in October 2020. The cash price was $6,999 and to finance the car would add an additional $3,000 bringing the total to $9,000. After the tax, tag, title and finance charges, it brought the total to approximately $14,000 for a 2008. We were told at the time of signing by the salesman they do same as cash payoff in 90 days. I paid $3,000 down, which to me left me owing around $4,500 for the car. When I went to pay the $4,500 in 90 days I was told there is no such thing as a same as cash 90 days payoff and continue paying biweekly. We were doubling our payments to pay the car off soon because of the bad deal we were given. I was in an accident in June 2022. While waiting on the insurance company to pay the car off. Olympic auto sales placed a negative remark on my credit report. When I called to speak with someone about it, I was transferred three times until I got a customer service rep. *** agreed to correct the negative report, but as today it hasnt been corrected. This is bad business and they are giving out bad business deals. This hurt my score tremendously, I would like a refund of my deposit in the amp of $3,000.Business Response

Hello *************************:
After reviewing your account we have come to this conclusion. Your account does show paid off on our end as of 10/17/2022 by the insurance company when they sent out the check balance. Please note that it takes the Credit Companies ***** days to update their records (do not penalize us for their lag time). As well it is your responsibility to pay your car note on time even if you got into a total loss, contract payments are still due so they do not show as late payments. You will not receive any refund since you totaled your vehicle and paid off the account in full.
As a gesture of good faith and to show you that we do look out for our customers and we want them to build their credit and have better future opportunities we will speak to the insurance company and try and roll back the payment as sent on your due date of 6/17/22 instead of 10/17/22 , that way your account will show paid off in full without a late payment.
Again our company has thousands of good customers like you that appreciate our efforts to help build their credit when they make payments on time and pay in full, that way they can come back and get better interest rates and better deals with our company or any other company for that matter. We hope you will take in consideration our efforts and hope you remove any unfair bad reviews of our company.
Best Regards

I am rejecting this response because: my loss was in June 2022, why did you wait until October 2022 to make a negative remark on my credit report? Thats well over 45 days. Once you received the check you reported the negative remark. Why did you report all my payments I made on time. You didnt report any payments I made on time, just as soon as the loss happened, then you reported a negative remark. Also on the report it says my balance was $6,999 which is incorrect, please include the down payment of $3,000 plus the tax tag and title fees I had to pay. This negative remark has hurt my credit tremendously and it need to be made right.
Sincerely,

The reporting was kicked off in July for Equifax and October for Experian, we did not wait specifically to report your account, your account is part of over **** accounts reported, all the payments you have made from the beginning of the contract till then end including the down payment are reported in the history of the account. We just emailed Experian about your account specifically and we expect all to be update for you before dec 7, since it may take 2 weeks on their end. Once it is updated please check your Credit and let us know if it reflects the good standing you are in.

On 8/24 I purchased a 2015 ******** **** CLA 250 VIN # *****************. I was provided with a pricing breakdown (attached) for the vehicle by Sales Manager **** (last name unknown). This pricing breakdown was the basis for the decision to purchase as documented in the text communications between **** and myself. When the vehicle was delivered on 8/30 it was identified that the options/packages listed on the pricing breakdown provided by **** were not a part of the vehicle. A simple VIN search revealed this. Therefore I seek to have the dollar amount of the missing options that formed the basis of the purchase refunded to me. The total refund amount sought is $2,025.00.Business Response

The management has reviewed the deal and has confirmed that the options on the vehicle stated in the book out are missing. The book out for the vehicle was priced at $24,225, the options listed are at $2,025 , therefore the correct book out is at $22,200. The vehicle was sold at $22,795. We are willing to discount the vehicle further and refund ***************************** the difference of $595 to reflect the book out mentioned and keep our customer happy.Customer Answer
