            $550 for 3 water shut off vavles!!! So they cut my water line. Then turn it on, only to have the internals completely destroyed. Then I call the guy to come back and he tells me it will be several days. How to you install something then something else proceeds to break and the guy tells me that it's something I should be able to fix. He was here for less than an hour. What the h*** did I pay for? Even if he didn't break it and it's some strange coincidence that 2/3 of my toilets just broke the exact same way. How do you not offer to fix it and then tell me I should be able to fix it myself. Not sure what kind of bizarre world they live in but they took advantage of someone in a really bad situation. If I wasn't disabled, I would have been able to fix it myself but you would have thought good people are out there. 2 days later with only 1 toilet I was saved by a company that was honest and very respectful. Better than being yelled at for leaving a bad review. The audacity. By the way 4 other plumbers quoted the same job for $75 a piece. Buyer be aware.

            Marshall Plumbing received a call from a female homeowner on Friday afternoon regarding a leaking shut-off valve in a guest bathroom. My plumber, ****** arrived at the home on Monday and was asked to replace one leaking shut-off valve and two others as a preventative measure (the toilets, he was advised, were approximately ***** years old). The homeowner was given a price to replace all three valves ($215 for the first and $150 each for the remaining two). When replacements were completed and the water to the house was turned back on, the customer was shown that the valves and supply lines had been replaced and were in working order.Several hours later ***** received and call from the homeowner who said that two of the three toilets were filling slowly. When ***** arrived at the home and assessed the two toilets, he found that both had deteriorated seals in the fill-valve. Deteriorated seals in fill-valves can result in the slow filling of the toilet tank and are not unusual for a toilet that is ***** years old (as the homeowner previously indicated). Further, the shut-off valve has nothing to do with the insides of a toilet where the fill-vale is located. ***** never opened up the toilet tank.***** was willing to replace the fill-valve for the homeowner, however, the homeowner asked where she could get the parts to do the repairs and commented that she had "fixed" other toilets before. Based on this exchange, ***** concluded that she was going to make the repairs herself. At no time did she or her husband ask ***** to replace the deteriorated fill- valves. According to ****** upon leaving the job, the customers, both husband and wife, seemed satisfied with the work he had done. Marshall Plumbing was never contacted by either homeowner with any concerns.Two days later, I received notice from the Better Business Bureau of a complaint. I asked ***** to immediately contact the homeowner. ***** contacted the female homeowner who informed ***** that it was her husband who contacted the Better Business Bureau. When ***** spoke to the husband, he was berated with insults and profanity; he accused ***** of "breaking" his toilet and called ***** a "Jackass". Any concern a customer may have with the work ********************** does may contact me directly, my personal cell number is on our website. However, this homeowner chose to castigate, in a vile and inappropriate way, my employee, he needs to find service providers else where.

            Unfortunately the owner not one time has attempted to reach out to us. Even after being over charged for an installation and having his goon employee call up to berate me. Pretty disappointing to think a company would call a customer who already had a difficult time with an employee. To have him call the customer and not allow any meaningful conversation for a resolution. Considering the fact that I called a plumber to replace shutoff valves and the rest of the toilet suddenly stops working... of course I have questions. But he wouldn't let me talk. This company at this point is harassing us. I did 100% call him a jackass because 1) I had to beg him to come back 2) he told me it would be a few days to comeback 3) He could have actually sold me on 3 brand new toilets like the other company did. They are bullies if you question their work and ask for answers. The owner doesn't even care about this company. Not one call. Please avoid them. Clearly in his explanation he saw a problem and avoided it. I left reviews immediately hoping for resolution. I want people to know that they will over charge you if you know nothing about plumbing and then leave you hanging. I record my calls if you want to listen.

            Just for further feedback. I reiterated several times that I am disabled with a spinal cord injury. So when he said yall should be able to figure it out yourselves, you could clearly tell he didn't want to help us. Over $500 for less than an hours worth of work and no help. I have every right to be mad. I was taken to town be cause I was desperate for help.

            ***** has been employed at Marshall Plumbing for over 5 years and has always had positive recommendations/reviews. My experience, and customer reviews, leads me to believe ***** does not argue, he doesn't get aggressive, he doesn't raise his voice . He does however, stands by his account of the abusive, profane language the customer used during the call. Just for clarification, the customer never contacted ********************** prior to submitting a complaint to the BBB (the customer did have my personal phone number which was given to him a mutual acquaintance). Unless a customer reaches out to us we can not resolve any issues that *** arise. As stated in my first response, after reading **************** account of the incident, ***** contacted the customer and was exposed to yelling, verbal abuse and false accusations (and it still goes on in **************** 2nd diatribe calling my employee a "goon")The charge that Marshall Plumbing is harassing this customer is blantely false, we are only replying to his complaint. After reading ************ tirade, anyone so inclined, can take a look at our ratings on Yelp/Google/Angie's List and see that Marshall Plumbing is a reliable, knowledgeable, highly rated company. Further, ************ if you would like to share those recorded conversations, I'd be happy to meet with you and listen. Other than that, I will not be responding to ************ false, overblown accusations again.

            This is a business owner folks!!! Sounds like you don't know your employees. I reached out and was told some guy named **** would call. Guess he is the owner. Yet still no call. This is the same result as talking to ****** Just some guy talking over me not letting the customer be heard. This is ********************** folks. They are always right and refuse to listen to a complaint. This conversation is futile as he is never wrong. I have been very calm through the entire process but till this day am still being attacked by this company. I like how you keep elaborating on me yelling but it didn't happen. We are adults here, please stop with the false allegations

            As much fun as that sounds. I completely fear for my safety after the way I have been treated the last few days. The irony of the story is that if ***** didn't treat us like he didn't want to be there, he would have actually done his job and fix the problem. But you keep sticking up for his poor performance. These responses have shown enough for people to decide. Wild to think customers are willing to spend money but instead I get put on blast by the employee and the owner. Cool
