    Let me start by saying that I was a long term customer until yesterday, Aug. 25th. I made my first order through their website & when I arrived at their store near me to pick it up I was informed that there would be a $20.00 transfer fee. Now they advertise that this is a family owned business & the website is set up as such. The very young lady at the counter informed me that they were actually separate businesses thus the transfer fee, and then told me that they had the cheapest prices anywhere and if I didn't like it, I could go to another dealer. I looked again on "their" website & found no mention of any transfer fee when shipped to their store. I've ordered guns from several dealers before & never been charged a fee when shipped to the same store. Regardless, the young lady was very disrespectful (I'm in my 70's) even though I remained pleasant to her. So I will take her advice and take my business to another georgia gun store in *********** where I know I would not have paid a transfer fee and would have gotten a better price without the fee and without the disrespect.

    Buyer beware! Once you order a firearm from Dahlonega Armory, the "side business" of the **** shop, they are of no use in resolving any issues. Give them the money and they are done!!My boxed shotgun was missing several significant "functional" components and their only response was to contact the manufacturer. Exact words were "You'll want to reach out to the manufacturer directly. Since all firearms are shipped as received from the manufacturer, anything missing would have been left out by the manufacturer." Actually, my firearm was dropped ship from another state, so they don't actually "ship as received from the manufacturer."Not a single word of "sorry about that" or "how can we help" but simply go away and don't bother us again. Plus, there is no phone number for contact. You have to complete a customer service "contact us" support ticket and hope that they respond in a timely manner with such useful info as they provided me!Never again will I try to shop locally when it comes to a firearm!! Buy from a reputable dealer (i.e., national chain) that will stand behind their products and help resolve any issues.

    Many orders placed, no problems yet. I have not ever had to contact customer service. I like their prices and service so far.
