We purchased wheels and tires from a trusted source in July. In August we took it to Covington Tire to have a lift and tires put on. We were told it *** be a couple of weeks due to staffing. We told them it was fine. After about 5 weeks we kept calling and they would give varying dates. We told them we needed the work completed. They released the truck on Oct 2 said it was ready. We took truck back after noticing but missing on front. On the way to take it back wheel fell off and it ultimately damaged the wheel. It could have KILLED someone or hurt my husband driving. They never admitted fault. They could not find a new wheel but said they didnt think that wheel was that bad. They released it to ** with ****** lug nuts and its a Chevrolet. The wheel could have came off again. Second opinion showed it was not safe and we now have to purchase new wheels. We basically wasted $1500 on the first set of wheels, paid him ******* for a lift and to install and nothing was done correctly. We are out of $1500 wheels and now have to go purchase another set due to their negligence. They lied and said they told us and they did not. As well as said we would deny their calls and we had no calls from them. They are incompetent and completely not truthful. We wasted several months and ultimately $3400 total on a negligent job. The lift will be okay but the $800 they charged to install and the $1500 in tires and wheels are now no good so we are out that money. The only money that *** be valid is the $1200 for the lift. They put new tires on another vehicle during the midst of this and we also had to take that vehicle back and spent a total of 4 hours and now my tire sensor light will not go off.
