    I purchased a 2012 GMC Terrain through Car Mart back in January 2025 . The same day of purchase, that afternoon the check engine light came on. I contacted them explaining that the check engine light came on. They told me to bring the car in so they can look at it. I brought the car in the next day. They kept the car for a day and returned it back to me. When I got the car the light was off, couple hours later the check engine light came back on. I contacted them again and they told me to drop the car off. They kept the car again for a couple days to do maintenance. By this time I found out that the catalytic converter went out on the ***** there was another issue with the engine. after explaining to them that I no longer felt safe in this car even after they told me, I could still drive it with a bad ******** converter. I told them I wanted my money back because theyve had my car more than I did at this point and the car note was about to be due again. The store manager finally told me to come in and that he will try to work something out with me. He allowed me to walk the lot to pick another car and told me to make sure because this was it because he couldnt work out no more deals with me . I ended up getting a 2015 ******* Santa Fe sport a couple weeks later this car breaks down on the interstate and the engine is smoking. A mechanic looks at the car and say the engine is locked to contact the dealer. I contacted Car Mart and told them what was going on and they said someone would contact me back. Ive been contacting them for days & no one has responded to me. now Im stuck with a car that has a bad engine. Im currently paying for ***** to go to and from work and also had to call out of work because of the inconvenience when I cant afford to ****. I live in *****************, but I work all the way in ************************ as a school bus driver, so this is a big inconvenience for me.

    I purchased the car April 4, 2023. I returned it in 7 days and never made the first payment. They still put the car onto my credit as an unpaid loan, which they did not have to do. That's a bad business practice, I made no loan payments, returned the car in 7 days. I paid $1000 down payment, but i returned the car in 7 days.

    I purchased a car from Car Mart in June 2023, I have had several issues with the car and fixed those issues out of my pocket. The car broke down in November and I called Car Mart to see if they would do anything, they said I could get the car diagnosed by a certified mechanic, pay a $75.00 deductible and they would tow my car to their shop and make the repair. I paid to tow my car to *** Boys in ******* ** got a diagnosis of fuel pump needing to be replaced with a few other things, i submitted the diagnosis to Car Mart and they said they would tow my car to their shop and make the repair. Two weeks later I finally got my car back and now the gas gauge is broken and a week later it shuts down in the middle of i-20, doing the exact thing it was doing to begin with. At 10:30 at night I was almost rear ended multiple times unable to move the car out of the lane because clearly the repair they claim to have done was NEVER done. I was scared to death. Again they tow my car from the interstate, I ask for a loaner car until they can make the repair they said no, and they will have my car for another 2 weeks even though their gross negligence almost caused my death they will not rush the repair, provided a loaner, or let me even speak to the general manger. I have called multiple times only to be told he will call me back and he never has. At this point I do not trust their mechanics and I am scared to drive the car without proof of repairs. They should do something to accommodate me since clearly they took my $75 and lied about the repair putting my life in danger.

    So I got approved for a car from car mart in **********, Ga, the car was listed as a special $500 down.. at first I didnt qualify for it so I inquired about a Buick encore that was there.. the down payment for that was ***** down.. but somehow they ended up redoing my app and getting me approved for the **** I had the sales quote for the Buick already with the numbers on it but got approved for the other I was told ***** down and 500 bring back cool its also written on the quote result.. why was I being charged 850 for the first payment when it says 500?? And Im being told I havent paid when I have 2 transactions in my account thats been charged by them. Also the car has issues with the engine, it rolls back a lot hard jerks when driving, it shut off on me 2 times, on the highway, the front end under needs major work sure the car is cute. Thats all.. yet they are calling my phone repeatedly for a payment that was already made sending GM to my house..pathetic
