Hello, I brought my 2021 ***** Camaro LT1 to MegaWorx Auto the first week of April for a camshaft repair. The receptionist told me full payment was required before theyd start. We agreed Id pay in installments toward the total of $6,295.18. I paid half in April and asked them to order the necessary parts (including the *** delete kit), so everything would be ready by the time I finished paying. They said the order was placed but later claimed they couldnt get one part (the camshaft actuator) due to a ** lawsuit. To avoid further delays, I sourced the part myself and delivered it to them by May 26. I completed the full payment on June 9. Despite that, they didnt begin repairs until June 13. I was told the job would take a week. After a week, I explained that being without a car was seriously affecting my job and daily life. I called regularly for updates, but my calls were often ignored or not returned. I had to drive from ******** to ******* repeatedly just to get information. On July 3rd, I was told the part they had originally ordered in April was the wrong one, but they only realized this when trying to install it. They blamed the supplier and refused to take any accountability. They didnt notify me when they learned the part was incorrect or provide any options. They simply told me to wait, with no clear timeline, and said it wasnt their fault. As of today (July 10th) , they claim the correct part should arrive Tuesday (7/15) and that the car might be ready by Friday (7/18). I asked what options were available if there was another delay, but they offered no helpjust said they were losing money because my car was occupying a lift. I responded that if theres any more delay, I want a full refund and will take my car elsewhere. Ive been extremely patient, especially considering I paid in full over a month ago and the car has been there since April.Update: the part came in 7/16, as of 7/19 the car is still being workd on.
