    On the morning of Saturday ******** **** , my car was towed to Griffin & Griffin Towing of Columbus , Ga due to a traffic stop . When I made my way to the site where my vehicle was stored , I found my vehicle damaged & the rear bumper as well as the exhaust missing . The company still wants the storage fee to receive my vehicle back from their impound lot .

    you for your inquiry.  We value your feedback and are committed to
    responding to all inquiries timely. Regarding this inquiry, we responded to a
    law enforcement call where a vehicle had been wrecked and then “abandoned”
    according to the attached tow ticket that we received.  Upon our arrival,
    we noticed that the vehicle had incurred severe damage.  When the customer came to pick up her
    vehicle, she complained of an additional piece of back-end damage. After
    further reviewing our initial pictures, we noticed the piece of damage as well.
    Therefore, we immediately delivered the vehicle on the same day to be repaired
    at our expense and we gave the customer $710 (see attached) for a rental car on
    that same day too while the car is being repaired. We extend our sincere
    apologies as we are committed to correcting any errors on our behalf. The only
    charge incurred by the customer is $100 for the initial accident tow and $25
    for the initial storage of the vehicle. These fees are associated with our
    initial call out by law enforcement. Again, we thank you for your inquiry.

    My vehicle was towed from the place I lived at I wasn't given any notice that my **** would be towed last Monday as I was at work, I caught them on camera. When I was finally able to get my **** out of impound for 220$ it wasn't driveable it won't go over 35 mph, and is throwing off codes for wheel speed sensors PCM module knock sensor and circuit fan. When before it wasn't doing any of that and was able to drive just fine. I can't afford the parts to replace on my **** nor should I have to cause their responsible for causing the problems.

    Thank you for you inquiry.  We value our customers and take all concerns very seriously.  On August 12, 2024 at 1:01pm, we were dispatched to this address by law enforcement due to an eviction in progress where we arrived on scene at 1:17pm where we were requested to tow this vehicle that had pre-existing damage away from the scene to our tow yard.  Please see the attached ticket showing that we were requested to tow the vehicle and the attached pictures showing the pre-existing condition of the vehicle.     My girlfriends car was towed to griffin and griffin after an accident and they have held the vehicle for 4 days and won't let either me or the insurance company look at the car to asses it I also have belongings in the car I can't get out they lied on the phone and said we could come see it when we got here they said we couldn't see it or pick it up we came two time with the same results so I'm filing a complaint
