My jeep was acting funny and making a noise while at low speeds so I paid for a warranty on the vehicle upon purchase with the dealership. So I returned to the service department against my better judgment to evaluate the problem. Service department claimed they ran several tests and couldn’t recreate the issues I was reporting. Then after all that they said let us test the fuel maybe that’s the issue. Then called me back later and basically made claims my vehicle had over 40 percent ethanol in the gas and basically claimed it was in the red and something needed to be done and sent pictures of a test kit but only the front end of the kit was visible never saw the levels on the test kit are on the back of the bottles. So basically they made me feel like I had to do this 1186 bucks worth of fuel cleaning even though I put the right gas in my vehicle per manufacturer specs but the service department claimed it was the gas station so I called the ga department of fuel measurements to test the gas station I use results indicate that they are at the legal amount not over as the dealer claimed.. so basically I was scammed and miss lead into thinking that I needed to do this repair and my warranty wouldn’t cover it even though I did everything I was supposed to do. Basically that is fraud

Mr. ****** came in on Nov 14th stating that his vehicle is making a noise and bogging down when slowly accelerating up a hill.  The technician heard a fuel knock concern. At this time the technician then took a fuel sample, which I still have the sample from his vehicle and found that the fuel is contaminated and had an excessive amount of ethanol in the fuel. At this time based on the technician's findings, he recommended a drain/fill of the fuel tank, a fuel system treatment, and an Ethanal treatment. The technician advised that the advisor that the customer needed to drive the vehicle for a week or more for the cleaner and treatment that was in the fuel tank to clean the injectors along with the rest of the fuel system. We have attempted to reach out to Mr. ****** and am willing to roadtest with him to ensure vehicle is fixed properly.  We are under the impression that vehicle is fixed and running properly.   Please advise if any other issues as we would set up a time he could come in and review.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at AutoNation North Columbus Dodge regarding my 2019 Dodge ***********

On July 2024-September 2024, I brought my vehicle in for repairs due to loss of power and steering issues. After spending a significant amount of money and time, I expected the issue to be resolved. Unfortunately, less than a month later, I am experiencing the same problem.

While I appreciate the efforts of my service advisor, who was genuinely helpful, I am disappointed in the lack of effective resolution from the service manager and general manager. I received multiple calls regarding payment, which I understood; however, if my vehicle is still experiencing issues, I do not see why I had to incur such expenses.

I kindly request that you address this matter promptly. I would appreciate your guidance on how to rectify this situation and ensure my vehicle is properly repaired without incurring additional costs.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response

In ******** 2023 I took my 2016 **** ******** to auto nation for a known recall that I had not been made aware of. I had to make them scan my vin # to prove that there was an oil consumption recall in addition to a second recall for the catalytic converter.
I was then told to drive it a certain amount of miles to do the oil consumption test. During this time the oil light came on. I was told to bring it back they kept it for a whole day only to be told that they couldn’t do the oil change because of the oil consumption test.
Brought it back again for the test in ***** and waited a week before I had to call and was told that they were putting a new engine in it. Two weeks pass and still no information on my car. I called again and was informed that the engine is on back order and the arrival date is unknown. **** 9 I was finally contacted and told an engine was put in my car and that I could come pick it up. When I went to pick up my car the belt was loose and all emergency light indicators were still on. Checked the oil before leaving dealership and it was clear. I was told it was new engine oil and that it would darken, which I was skeptical of and thought might be mineral oil for transportation of the engine. Was told to drive the car and if any problems arise to call the dealership.
3 weeks later my engine is locked up and I’m stuck at work. Auto nation had the car towed to their lot and there is no call or information provided that my car has even made it to their dealership! I called several times with no answer and no information provided at all on the status of my car. Finally reached someone 3 days later and they stated that it will be 2-3 more days before they can even look at my car!
All the while with each interaction I’m being talked over, or talked down to. I had to bring a man with me to be taken seriously.

    Thank
you for bringing this concern to our attention. The customer’s vehicle received
authorization for an engine replacement in ***** of this year after the proper
consumption test began in *******. It took approximately two months for the
engine to arrive, after which it was installed along with the completion of another
recall repair. On **** 22nd, the vehicle returned to the dealership
after being driven approximately 1,000 miles, where it was diagnosed to have a faulty
starter. The technician was able to turn the engine over by hand, signaling
that the engine was not locked. The customer was given an estimate to replace
the starter if they choose to move forward with repairs.

    Thank
    you.
