I bought a refrigerator from Hester’s appliance, and they haven’t yet to honor their warranty that “TIM HESTER” insisted that I would have. My fridge went out in October of 2024, I have been calling and texting him and his son about this issue and been giving the run a round.Business Response

I purchased a refrigerator from this business and once it was installed I realized the ice maker was not distributing ice. I have a 12 year warranty on this item. I was told they would fix the problem. I have contacted them at least 30-40 times. I'm always being told someone will be out. Chris(who does the repairs) came out once. He changed something and that wasn't the problem, told me he would be back a few days later. Never came back, stopped answering my calls. (I was given his cell phone number) so I started back calling the store. Was told he thought the problem was fixed. I have been going back and fourth for months with this place. I think they are taking advantage because I'm female. I'm promised a callback and never receive one. It's at the point now where I just want it fixed per their policy. I called a couple weeks ago and I was told the same thing. "I'm sending him out today, I'll make sure to call you when he's on the way" and no one comes. It's very frustrating dealing with a business like this. They don't honor their warranty and are liars. Just giving me the lies an excuses and still don't do what they say. I'm done! Please assist me with this company. I know I can't be the only one dealing with this kind of issue, but I'm the bold one to call this out on their disrespect and lies. I have had ENOUGH! Appliance purchase from Hesters appliances
I purchased a dryer set in March. It came with 1 year warranty. up until July 19 I had no problem calling and getting a repairman to come out and fix it. Last week on Monday ,July 15 , 2024 the problem of the washing machine not rinsing and spinning the clothes occurred. I called for service and repairment came out on Wednesday, July 17 and said that the drum had a problem and he heard Knocking. so he acknowledged the problem. I asked that he replaced the set because I wanted a old time washer that was not digitally operated. one with knobs. I am computer literate and I admit that some times it was "user errors! I have called repeatedly and given the runaround. The repairman has not called me back or addressed the issue. I paid almost $800 . I am not asking for a refund only a replacement for the set.Customer Answer

I am happy to say that on Friday August 2,2024, I finally received a replacement washer from Hesters Appliance around 3p.m. The caller was most apologetic fir taking so long and also commended me for my patience. He also called on the following Saturday for a follow up! Therefore I would like to close out my complaint. He said that if I had any problems, don't hesitate to call. I hired Hesters appliance (***** ****** to replace the door seal on my 4 yr old ****** front load washing machine. Two weeks, 4 visits and $450 later, water is pouring out the back of the machine. Now they are not answering my calls. So I called another repair company to fix what they broke and they said it’s not cost effective to repair. Pls investigate. On 5/2024 I purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer from Hester's appliance. I asked them before purchasing to allow me to see them work, they did plug the dryer up, and it seemed to be working ok, then I asked for the washer to be plugged up, but was told that it would take time to hook it up, so because I have purchased appliances from them before and didn't have any problems before I payed $650.00 for both appliances, and $30.00 for delivery. That evening I tried the washer, and dryer. When I washed my first load my clothes were wringing wet at the end of the washing cycle, so I put the dial on spin again and it worked fine, so I didn't think anything about it, but when I put my second load into the washer all the lights were flashing and the washer was making a loud noise. I stopped it and started it over, and got the same results. I finished washing, and put my clothes into the dryer, and I leaned against the dryer and it rocked back to where I had to hold on to keep my balance, I went ahead and put my clothes in and turned it on, and when it was finished my clothes weren't dry, so I had to turn it back on and got the same results. It took a third time before it dried my clothes. I went to the store and let them know what was going on, one of the owners came to my house, looked at them, turned a few cycles to see if he could tell what was going on, he never tried to fix the balance on the dryer, and he didn't do anything really. I've been back to the store a couple of times about this matter, and asked for another washer and dryer of equal value, and they just keep promising that they are going to take care of it, I called a couple of times and I am still getting the run around from them. I would either like another washer and dryer or my money back, they gave a year warranty on the appliances, and I need help with this matter.Initial Complaint

We bought a refrigerator from these people, when delivering it we told em it will not fit thru the door with the door on they are going to have to take them off to be safest as we have had this house for 22 years we know our home. They didn’t listen and proceeded to try any ways shoving and pulling and hitting my door frame with this fridge. They finally stopped and took the doors off. But once inside the doors were not lined up properly. They’d are to fix it but was in able to stating they would return the next day, but never did. Finally got them back out. Same thing can’t fix it be back next day and never showed this has happened numerous times. Today they were supposed to come and never showed and not answering the phones
