      I received a $922 bill from Radiology Associates APC for medical tests in ***** ****. The statement, dated ********, showed a patient payment in ****** but no insurance payment. I called, and they said they were waiting on an insurance response. They resubmitted the claim and told me to call back in 6 business days. This cycle happened 6–7 times. Each time, I was assured I didn’t need to pay since insurance hadn’t responded.

      Despite this, I was sent to *** Collections without warning. When I called Radiology Associates to complain, an agent suddenly found duplicate test charges, escalated the issue to their coding team, and placed my account "on hold" with collections. I stayed in contact with both companies.

      On *******, an agent named Andy confirmed the coding error was corrected, and **** had paid the bill in full on ********. However, *** Collections still claimed I owed money and threatened to report it to credit agencies. On ******, I was told again that my balance was $0 and that I would receive a refund. Yet, on *******, Ronny at *** Collections claimed I still owed $400. I explained that multiple Radiology Associates agents confirmed full payment, and she said they needed to update the account.

      I called Radiology Associates again, requesting a manager, but was told they were "too busy." An agent improperly initiated a three-way call with collections and then disconnected. When I called back, I was hung up on multiple times.

      Today, *******, Ronny at collections said I now owe $100 due to "adjustments" by someone named "Mr. Jack." I do not even know who this is. Radiology Associates still insists my balance is $0.

      I have spent over 10 hours trying to fix an issue caused by their coding error. They failed to notify me before sending me to collections, and now I’m caught between two companies with no resolution.

      I request immediate removal from collections, written confirmation of my $0 balance, and assurance my credit won’t be impacted.

      I have reviewed Ms. ******s account.  She is correct, her account was billed incorrectly and not corrected until ******** ****.  At this time the account should have been cancelled from *** collections.  Her account has a zero balance. She has, also, been sent a refund check for $25, for an overpayment.  I have emailed *** collections at ************************** telling them to cancel the account, it was turned over in error.  I also called and spoke with Ms. ***** and let her know the steps I had taken.  She appreciated the call.  I told her once I receive the confirmation email from ***, for cancelation, I will send to her email.  I shared my number if she has any other issues.  Please let me know if any further info is needed from Radiology Associates APC.  We take these complaints very serious and want to make our patients' happy.  Thanks Angel
