    8/14/24 I brought my 2010 *** to CarStar due to a non fault accident. My vehicle was covered under *************** claim. once the repairs were completed I picked up my vehicle on Sept 9th 2024 After picking up my vehicle I noticed a couple things that was damaged. One I could not close my passenger side door, secondly my gas was driven out of my car and my tank was on E. I did take pictures of my vehicle gas before leaving it with this company and lastly I noticed damage to the passenger side roof of my vehicle. I immediately called and spoke to **** who took liable and was apologetic. **** stated that the door can be fixed in 10 mins if I could bring my vehicle back and they will have a tech put on a weather strip. I explained to **** I didnt feel comfortable with the techs there due to there previous negligence. I would allow them to replace the weather strip since it only took 10 mins and I could stay with my car. Now as far as the paint that was peeling I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle again with them due to the techs being careless. **** then referred me to her manager ****** ****, who asked me to get an estimate I asked Mr **** was he going to submit a claim with his insurance he stated he would not. I got the estimate and was told by ****** and ****** the owner that the estimate was excessive and they were not going to pay for it. ****** said he was going to call the shop of my choice and negotiate with them. I then spoke to the owner and expressed my concerns. ****** offered me to go to another location but after my experience with ****** and the technician and there negligence, I prefer to go to a shop of my choice. ****** stated that the estimate was a bit much and they will only pay for paint. I then spoke to the business of my choice the manager there stated the part that Car Star damaged is known to break if removed to paint. They stated if it doesnt break then they wont charge me. Car Star offered me $123.12 its not acceptable
