Attached is a detailed account of our unfortunate experience with C&C Solutions. It is apparent that the C&C Solutions business owner is not experienced in the heating and air space. We believe that C&C Solutions intentionally created more problems to our unit to continue to gain profit. My husband and I spent over $1,000 with this business and they were never able to fix the problem. The company we hired to fix the issue said that how the furnace was installed was not up to code so we also had to pay for them to fix C&C Solutions work. Additionally, we were told the C&C Solutions glued the *** pipe without flushing out the system, which created more problems. When we hired a different company, they solved it right away. When you search online for C&C Solutions, their business license seems to be tied to a transportation business so we do not believed they are licensed to be doing this type of work. Additionally, their Yelp and ****** reviews show that other customers are experiencing the same issue. Given that they had to come out multiple times and were still not able to fix the **** problem, we are seeking for reimbursement of our money.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because we made multiple good faith attempts to resolve the issue through C&C Solutions. Given the financial burden, safety concerns for us as well as our newborn son, and substandard workmanship, we are requesting full reimbursement of the money we paid for services that had to be redone by an entirely different HVAC company. Our home warranty company is Home Warranty of America and we submitted a complaint to them about C&C Solutions to warn them about their inadequate work. While C&C Solutions claims they were only working on behalf of our home warranty company, we, the homeowners, paid over $1,000 out-of-pocket for services that were never properly completed and ultimately created more problems. Therefore, we are customers of C&C ********************** and are entitled to successful completion of work, which we paid over $7,000 to another company to solve.
C&C Solutions was originally dispatched to repair a leaking HVAC drain pan, which they claimed was due to a disconnected PVC pipe. Instead of fully flushing and repairing the system, the technician glued the pipe back together, which later contributed to ongoing HVAC issues. We were also sold two sensors, costing us $550, which were supposed to prevent further flooding this did not resolve the problem. C&C Solutions then claimed the issue was a burnt control board and replaced the furnace. During this replacement, our fire and carbon monoxide alarms were set off for over an hour which is an extremely serious safety concern. The technician left without addressing the cause or speaking to the *******************************, who had to intervene and asked us to call the business owner.
Despite their claim that we cancelled an appointment, the business owner actually told us he would not return for seven days, prompting us to hire another licensed **** company. That company resolved the issue within 24 hours and informed us that:- The furnace was not installed to code
- The PVC pipe had not been flushed, contributing to airflow issues
- The work by C&C Solutions created new problemsSincerely,

The furnace was installed per code the saftey float switch was installed to shut the system off. If the drain line were to get clogged up, we do this with every new install. We was not paid nor asked to clean the drain line per the warranty company Choice home warranty and American home warranty is owned by the same company we was dispatched by the home warranty company only we only do work for the home warranty company. The money that the customer had to pay was non-coverage charges for the warranty company The safety float switches that the customer agreed to pay the $550 for is still in his home and installed we do not reimburse any funds that is left at the customers home I did speak to the fire department and the fireman confirmed there was no issues with the system that the smell from the smoke detectors is from when the old furnace was installed and burnt control board, allowing the smoke in the ductwork to ventilate i advised the homeowner to contact the warranty company in regards to having the duct work cleaned we did not cause any damage to the furnace. We only replaced the furnace. We did not do any work to the existing furnace that was there before. Everything is in documentation with the warranty company. We must go through the warranty company for any further action as I am working directly for the warranty company only. I have reached out to the customer multiple times via text message and phone call The customer is failing to respond. We had our appointment set through the warranty company for us to come back and diagnose the ** system issue that the customer is having A complaint for our company did not diagnose anything to do with the ** system due to the homeowner canceling our scheduled visit. Mrs. **** if you would please give us a call directly so we can solve this issue for you if it has not been solved yet as we strive to service our customers to the best of our ability thank you godbless

I am rejecting the businesss response because it fails to acknowledge the core issues we experienced and instead misrepresents the sequence of events and our concerns. We made multiple good faith attempts to resolve this matter directly with C&C Solutions before escalating to the BBB. Unfortunately, due to the substandard workmanship, unresolved issues, significant out-of-pocket expenses, and most importantly, the safety risks posed to our family, including our newborn child, we were forced to hire a second licensed ************ to correct the problems.
While C&C Solutions claims they were acting only on behalf of our home warranty provider (Home Warranty of America), the reality is that we, the homeowners, paid over $1,000 out-of-pocket directly to C&C Solutions for services and parts that did not resolve the problem and, in fact, contributed to further damage and danger.
Specific Issues That Remain Unaddressed by C&C Solutions:
- Faulty repair of HVAC system: The technician glued a disconnected *** pipe rather than properly flushing the system, leading to continued drainage and airflow issues.
- Unnecessary and ineffective parts: We were sold two flood prevention sensors for $550, which did not prevent repeated issues and were later deemed unnecessary by the second company.
- Furnace installation created a safety hazard: During the installation of a new furnace, our fire and carbon monoxide alarms were triggered for over an hour. The technician left without a successful solution. The ******************************* had to intervene due to the potential danger.
- Incorrect claim about a cancelled appointment: The business owner stated that we cancelled an appointment, but in reality, we were told he would not return for seven days, a delay that was unacceptable given the safety risks involved.
- Work failed inspection by a second ************: The replacement company, which resolved the problem in under 24 hours, confirmed that: the furnace was not installed to code; the *** pipe was never flushed; and the original work by C&C Solutions had created new problems, not solved existing onesWe have since submitted a complaint to Home Warranty of America to inform them of C&C Solutions' conduct and to warn them against continuing to dispatch this company to other homeowners.
C&C Solutions response does not address the poor quality of their work, the unsafe conditions created during their service, or the financial burden placed on us as a result. As paying customers who had to spend an additional $7,000+ to have another ************ fix the issues they left behind, we are seeking a full reimbursement of the out-of-pocket payments made to C&C Solutions.
Sincerely,
******* ****
