I took my car to them for a diagnostic test, on April 11th I pick my car up after they said they concluded the diagnostics, when I picked the car up I asked them for my results on paper and receipt, the man at the shop said the company would email them to me. After a month of nothing I had to keep calling for my results even though i already paid in full for the service. After almost a month has passed I still didn't get my results and receipt they kept telling me to be patient they were relocating, after a week of waiting I called in upset and fusing, I already paid them and only got a call telling me the problem, I'm trying to explain to them I need the email of the problems so I can take it to a local shop and give the results to them. The man I was talking to hung up in my face. So I did a bad review on ****** and the owner Finally responds to the bad review insulting me on whether or not I could afford to get the problems fixed through them and posted my diagnostic results in his response and then sent them to me in a text message. I called and left a message asking could he please send the receipt and here we another week later and I still haven't gotten my receipt. I need the receipt for important matters and they are putting my business on hold because they don't want to take 1 minute out of their day to send me a receipt so I can move on with my life

On February 6th 2023 I drop my truck off at fastlane auto shop to have them put on bigger injector, intake manifold, bigger throttle and do a dyno tune. They said I will have my truck back by the 9th of February. They still have my truck and the work is not complete. I've paid them over ***** dollars so far and I only old them 225 dollars. Everytime I called they telling me it's almost done just working on a few minor issues or they can't get the tune right. Now they saying I need a bigger stall converter for my transmission because the one I have is to small. So I reach out to the original shop that installed my engine and did the basic tune and informed him of the issues that this shop is having. He informed me that it's not my stall converter because he is the one who did the original tune and he reminded me that I drove my truck from ***** ** to ******* ******* and I had no problem with the stall converter and when I brought my truck to fast lane my truck was running perfect so I know for a fact it's not the stall converter because I been driving my truck perfect with the factory stall converter. On February 22 I pop up to the shop and my truck was just parked outside of the shop and I spoke with the guy who's working on my truck he brought to my attention that my truck didn't need bigger injectors so instead he put a fuel regulator instead. He never got my permission to swap it. So now he's saying my truck have electric issues. It's having electrical issues now because he added some fuel regulator that I didn't want and I informed him of that and I explained that the fuel regulator may be the problem it's throwing something off or it maybe hook up wrong. Once again he stated he's the professional he's been doing this for years but he can't seem to get my truck right. I know for a fact my truck was riding perfect without that fuel regulator he added. All I came there for was to have my injector done and intake manifold along with a dyno tune. He should have reached out to me and asked me if I want a fuel regulator instead of the injector I have brought. He didn't and he's not even man enough to admit he's wrong for that. I just want my truck back to normal if they can't get the job done then put all my regular parts back on and give me all my MONEY BACK... I'm trying so hard to be professional but I'm not gonna allow this shop to run over me I promise... I will take them to court if I have to. I'm at the point where I just want my money back in truck restore back to my original parts and just accept my lost and move on from this shady shop

    Business Response

Mr. ****** requested Fast Lane Performance to work on his early ****s Suburban with ******* Miles on it. This vehicle is roughly 20 years old and has been completely modified by previous shops.

Mr. ****** insisted FLP to install a larger intake manifold, Fast Big Mouth throttle body, and dyno tune on his vehicle. No problem. We do this almost every day. The installation was straight forward, with the exception of running across old damaged fuel lines that were already on the vehicle.

Upon completion of installation of the above modifications, the vehicle went to our tuning station. This is where the majority of the problems started. Our tuner confirmed the camshaft Mr. ****** paid the previous shop to install was too large for his engine and torque converter.  This caused the engine to hesitate when put in drive, as the cam was too big and needed a stall converter. Furthermore Fast Lane Performance noticed the vehicle had serious electrical issues due to the aftermarket stereo system, remote start, alarm system, and exposed/damaged engine harness, causing error codes with the HPtuners software.

Fast Lane Performance did everything possible to help Mr. ****** up to date and satisfied by the estimated ***** calls in the short 2 week period the vehicle was in the shop. Fast Lane Performance even waived the $250 balance.

I am rejecting this response because:
I brought a create motor from the hot rod company and my cam is not to big. I have the right size cam. And further more they added a fuel regulator to my truck which they should have never added they don't know what they are doing. My truck is now in another shop and I was informed that my setup does not require a fuel regulator and if I add a fuel regulator I would have to change my whole system. Just because my truck is 20 years old is no excuse. Everything is brand new on my truck far as the engine and the wire. Fast lane works on cars that's older than 20 years so that shouldn't be an excuse. They still avoiding my complaint I paid them to do bigger injectors not a fuel regulator.
    Sincerely,
