Failing polymeric sand around blue stone pavers around my inground vinyl liner pool.I had originally wanted concrete pavers around the pool and the owner *************************** talked me into blue stone pavers. He explained that all the stone would be placed a finger width or less apart. I agreed to use blue stone.As soon as the stone started getting placed I noted to him that there were a lot of large gaps ( size of my hand and larger ) and he explained that they would come back and put smaller stone in between before putting the sand down, that did not happen. 1 week later those gaps were not getting solid, photos attached. The sand was mushy and falling out of those gaps. He had his team come back and dig out those big gaps and put small stones in. But the polymeric never bonded to the sand that was already in there. The final payment was made November 2020. We have a 2 year warranty from Clear Visions pool in the contract we signed. He came to our house to sign the contract and never would send me a copy of what we sign.Up until September 19, 2021, ***** was telling me he would warranty his work. I have tried multiple times in the past year to get him to respond to me by text and phone calls. We kept thinking he would finally respond to me reaching out. Now the warranty has expired and we have started having other contractors come to give us quotes on fixing or replacing the pool deck. I didn't say anything to any of them about when or who installed the deck, just that I needed a quote to fix or replace. All 3 companies we have had come out so far have told us the current pool deck was installed improperly. I am attaching photos taken today to show the current state. I have added some comments to a few to hopefully explain what it is I am trying to convey. Also some photos I have from a 2 years ago that were sent to ***** to show how the polymeric sand was failing.I am also attaching the text messages that were the last contact I had with him.
