Contracted with Precise Moving Bill of Lading 4/11/2023 price $11,975.70; paid $4400.00 before move on April 14, 2023. Movers arrived at 11:30am that day and asked for $6500. now and certified check or cash, etc. of $6500. when goods delivered. We paid this under duress. ************************ called Precise on April 15th to dispute the extra charges; his calls brought no satisfactory results and Precise simply stopped answering or returning his calls. 53 ft truck and trailer were promised by Precise but a Budget 24ft truck was used to take goods to *********** where they were unloaded and packed into larger truck and trailer. Driver from ****** Moving arrived late on April 26th as Precise did not give him address of storage unit in time. Two men unloaded truck when more men were needed. Finished unloading truck by 9pm. Many boxes were damaged/ crushed and some items destroyed. No attention to boxes labelled "fragile". Photos of damaged boxes and items were sent to Precise. Calls to Precise either went unanswered or we were put on hold for 15 or more minutes. Precise has not returned calls many times. Precise stated in March email they are not "brokers" however credit card shows payment to ****** Moving and $6500 payments were made to Rotem Atios Business Acct. ********************** was not truthful. We were never told that other companies would be involved in this move. This is the first time either one of us has hired a moving company. An online reference check of Precise Moving and Storage showed them as excellent. Job #*******. All documents attached to emails from Precise are no longer available. Managed to get a copy of Bill of Lading when we spoke to ************************, with Precise.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:This business has proven to be unresponsive to our complaints and request and have proven to be unwilling to resolve this matter. They offered to send a form for the damaged goods but it was never received by us.
They have proven to be unprofessional and we cannot place any trust in them.

On March 23th of this year 2023, I made a deposit of $1950.00 ( One thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars) to ****** Moving **** who's business name is Precise Moving and Storage with address in ******************************************************************************. For the services of Moving and store my belongings. The service was to be done on May 30th, however my family circumstances changed and I no longer needed their services. On April 24th I canceled the services via phone call and via email, when I did not get a response, I sent a second email on April 25th. Then I got a this respond, saying: "we no longer have the merchant account we were using at time of your booking, it will take at least 2 weeks for the refund. Sorry for any inconvenience"I would like to point out that I complied with all the requirements that they mentioned in their estimate services to be able to get a refund and I haven't received yet. I've called several times and every answer is unclear as to why I haven't received my money back and, ********************* ends telling me it will take two weeks, five days, one more week, the accounting team is taking care, just plane excuses. ** seems like she is the only person running the whole thing because there is no customer service other than her. After this experience, this company feels like a scam. The number of my Moving estimate is R6224376. Which if you try to access online is not available anymore.Business Response

Hello BBB, This customer booked with us for a pick up that is to take place on April 21, 2023. They put down a $100 deposit of their total deposit of $582.50. Are Sales Manager ***** tried calling Ms. ****** today and left her a voice mail for her to call him.
I have attached a screen shot, that you will see how many times we have tried to reach out to this cusomer by email and phone with no response. Our office number is ************ if Ms. ****** can call in to speak with the Sales Manager, *****, he will definelly resolve her issue.

Refund of deposit based on change in the moo. There was no way I could exercise the five day cancellation policy as the move was scheduled too soon. I am trying to change the dates as my daughter is no longer going to move until March 25. the woman ****** has been calling and screaming at me all morning.
