Business Name:**************** D/B/A RockBox Fitness Owner: ***** ***** Nature of Complaint:Failure to provide services and refusal to issue refund after abrupt business closure.Complaint Details:On April 20, 2025, I received an email from RockBox Fitness (****************, owned by ***** and ***** *****) announcing the immediate and permanent closure of the business. I had paid in full for a membership, with a remaining unused value of approximately $961 at the time of closure.Since that announcement, I have made multiple attempts to contact the business and its owners to request a prorated refund. All phone calls have gone unanswered, and voicemails remain unreturned. I also sent a certified letter to the business address listed in the contract. The letter is expected to be returned to me, as there appears to be no mailbox at that location. This suggests there is no valid mailing address available for resolving contractual ********* date, I have received no communication from the owners or staff regarding refunds or next steps. This lack of response and inaccessibility constitutes a failure to honor the terms of the contract and a disregard for customer rights.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full prorated refund of $961 for the unused portion of my prepaid membership. I also request formal written communication from the business addressing this issue and outlining refund procedures for affected members.

Hello,I started my membership in November 28, 2023 paid $997 for 6 months up front. I went into emergency surgery January 19, 2024 and I contacted them same day to hold my membership. Went back in April 11th for approximately a week but was unable to continue ( felt extremely sick), found out I have to have another surgery contacted them July 2nd to let them know I was too sick to go back. They still charged my card July 28 for $179,July 29 for $199 and Aug 28 for $179. I have contacted them asking them to refund these charges and they are refusing to do so. Their response is they don't have indefinite freezes. The charges don't add up from the time I requested to have the account frozen (Jan 19 to April 11th) and I can't help getting sick and needing surgery. I just want to be refunded for the last 3 charges.
