    ADT is a nightmare to do business with.We have been an ADT customer for 23 years, but have noticed a significant decline in customer ********************** and support over the past few years. So much so that we have decided to cancel our account, but even this has been nightmare.ADT does not value or respect your time, nor do they treat you as s valued customer. This company's primary goal is to obtain the most profits for its shareholders in anyway they can.Customer ********************** staff do not follow through with verbal communications. Plan on spending an inordinate amount of time on phone and plan on being forwarded to different service reps in the process. We've had so many false alarms due to failing sensors we no longer trust our system and received a warning from the local sheriff.Service techs frequntly come unprepared without required parts to make repairs which results in multiple service visits which is a total waste of our time.In summary, we do not recommend ADT for any products or services.

    I hate ADT. The entire company is terrible from the sales to the management. The company did not perform our camera installation correctly. They failed to waterproof our outside cameras. Awful customer ********************** and awful installation crew. Worst company I have ever dealt with. The worst part is they told me they would cancel our monthly service agreement only to later bill us for the full amount of the contract. Good luck getting management to discuss any issues. They will not call you back.

    I hate ADT. When the sale person came to my house. They told me i would NOT be locked into a contract and that i could cancel at any time. Well stupid of me for not reading the contract before i signed. I am now locked into a 36 months contract for a service i dont even use. The equipment *****, its old and outdated. I should have just settled for a ring cam like my husband suggested.

    Worst ever. They sucked the life out of out internet yet the guy said it would make it faster. They told us we had to upgrade our internet. Came out 3 times, did not let us out of our contract. The ring doorbell is better no contact

    I have had several security systems. This is the worst. I had one installed when we moved and have paid 56 dollars each month for 15 months. The system was not installed correctly. I called several times to report the problem. I was informed that I would have to pay a service fee and what ever time to fix the problem. The problem was their installation. There are three main problems. They said they will not come out unless I paid. I explained the problem which major effects of the security. The las call they informed me that if I want to cancel my contract is for three years and I would have to pay ************************************************************************************* order for them to come out and fix the problem the cost is 114 the first thirty minutes and 30 dollars per 15 minutes after that amounting to 180 for one hour not including the service fee. They said I did not have coverage on the equipment. The equipment was not installed correctly. I explained the problems. They said that my contract does not cover the equipment which THEY did not install correctly which impacts the security. They did not care so I am paying for a service I can not fully use. Plus they said they did not know how long it would take to fix the problem. I have never heard of a company charging 180 plus the service fee whike I am laying 56 dollars per month. This was their problem and this company do not use. Nothing was said at installation about the service fees and the cancellation.

    I had ADT service for 18 years. For most of that time I had satisfactory service. They informed me I needed to upgrade my system to a Wi-Fi based service which proved to be very expensive. Foolishly, I agreed to do this. The upgraded system proved to be nothing but trouble. Touch keyboards had to be constantly rebooted and sometimes could not be rebooted. Many visits by ADT technicians were unproductive. I had replaced my Ring doorbell with the ADT version, but that did not compare to the Ring, so I put that back on. Ultimately, I went with h a local company and had all the ADT equipment removed as they have apparently found a way it cant be used by other companies. I own this equipment if anyone is interested in buying it I may put it in E-bay. I have a contract which I have to pay off even though the system was unsatisfactory and could not be fixed. My advice is to stay away from ADT in in present model and definitely do not upgrade a system that is working well.
