Grinch, thy name is Swann. I've had a service contract with Swann for a while now. During Christmas (also a historically cold week), they left me and my children (including a toddler) and pets for FOUR days without any heat on the main floor of my house, while telling me that they would come out the next, each day. Then on DAY FIVE even though I had a service contract with them, I was told that they refused to do service on the unit because they had overpriced the installation of that particular unit by several thousand dollars (needless to say, I had another company install it as they put the unit in for half the cost). Even though they had installed other units in my home and I had a service contract with them that I paid for, I was told that they would not come out to service ANY unit. Now, after almost a week during a historic cold spell where my family, pets and I haven't been able to use the main section of my house (during Christmas), I'm having to scramble to find a new company. Inexcusable! I was never rude to them. I was extremely understanding for four days while they assured me that they were sending someone out. This is a sad and horrific example of how they treat their loyal customers. I would not recommend them. Please save your money and deal with a decent, reputable company that appreciates their customers and treats them with respect; a company that doesn't leave their loyal customers to freeze during Christmas.

This customer had heat in other parts of her home and during this "historically cold week", we were more focused on the customers who had NO heat. Her requests was not refused, but put in order of priority as she had heat. I find the fact of the "they had overpriced the installation of that particular unit by several thousand dollars (needless to say, I had another company install it as they put the unit in for half the cost)." yet expects us to prioritize the repair of a unit that we did not install and has now failed over customers with no heat in their homes at all.
