I had just recently came home **** ****** missing * years of tax filings, I received a consultation on 4/6/24 as he inputed my tax information he stated how "fast and easy" it was, however, I left without completing a tax return because of incomplete information. He gave me instructions on how to find the missing information as to which I obtained. I sent him that information on 4/7/24. I called to confirm that he received the email as to which I was put on hold and no one came to the phone for 10 minutes, so I hung up. On 4/14/24 a day before the tax deadline, I called. He picked up the phone and I asked about my filings. He responded that he had filed my taxes and everything was good. Then I asked about payment as to which he asked for my name again and then inquired my information only to state he did not file my taxes. Then he said that he needed the information, so I resent the information again and we hung up. On 4/16/24 I did a follow-up call. He answered the phone and was stating how he had "115 people" that kept him busy and was raising his voice at me while trying to belittle me and stating how he was so professional. When I said that we were past the deadline, he responded and said "you are already * years past the deadline!" as if I could afford more penalties. On 4/17/24 he made contact with me to provide him with more information. On 4/18/24 he stated he had everything to file. On 4/22/24 he emailed me stating that the taxes are ready. I asked him the price and he responded $600. I checked in with other people who filed taxes with him and they were not charged near as much. I responded that I do not have that kind of money and unfortunately I will have to find someone else to file my taxes and I also asked if he filed an extension on my behalf and he responded in all caps "UNFORTUNATELY I DID NOT FILE AN EXTENSION" As to which was a play on my words. Instead of Mr. Cooper being honest, he'd rather cost me time, and penalties. Absolutely unprofessional.
