    I hired Georgia Granite ********** to install a granite countertop over a small area. He quoted the final bill and I paid him a down payment of 150.00 two weeks ago. I later found that they withdrew the total amount owed from my account without my authorization. I was to pay them the remainder on completion of the job. They are Friday and complete and I want them to complete but I am concerned they will charge me even more at the end. I do not want them in my account. They were allowed to debit the down payment of 150.00 but not the total amount.

    I do not want any more money removed from my account as this is the total I owe. I do not want nor give permission for them to remove any more additional funds from my account.

    I just want them to complete as scheduled now at this time and provide me with paid in full receipt. I am concerned about how they accessed authority to remove funds from my account and what measures have they taken to secure the privacy of my account with no other funds to be removed.

    Certainly Mr. ******* authorized to charge $150. However, in order to complete the granite countertop installation, the full amount must be paid in full in advance, which Mr. ******* verbally authorized it over the phone. Then, he made up his mind, and called his bank to dispute the charge and get the funds back. After that GA Granite decided not to go forward with the job, we'll lose the money (material and labor), but we rather lose money than proceed with kind of situation.
