    I would like to know if the payment update will be reported and removed from my credit report before 30 days. I paid another debt that was removed from my credit in one day.

    Per the agreement when the payment was made, we will be submitting the record to be removed from your credit on our next scheduled submission date, which is currently ***** ** ****. Once that update has been submitted to the credit reporting agencies, the speed in which that removal is processed is entirely in their hands and out of our control.

    This company has been harassing me for over a year about “debt” that has been paid.
    Unfortunately, over two years ago I was a tenant at a ****** property. They sent my “debt” to merchants credit bureau. I called the ****** property, paid my debt of $372, and they told me they’d have to refund my payment and that I’d actually need to pay it to merchants credit bureau. ****** properties never refunded me. I explained this to merchants credit bureau and even showed them the receipts and they refused to drop the debt. I managed to have the original debt collection of $372 removed from my credit reports. As of 2023 they are attempting to make another collection for a different total of $572 this is a brand new amount and I cannot find any validating contract where I am obliged to pay this and they haven’t told me where this total is coming from. Now I have a derogatory mark on my credit report that they have refused to remove, despite violating my rights as an active duty service member on *** orders who is protected from these kinds of actions under the SCRA law. My goal is to stop being harassed and to have this debt removed and forgiven because it is inaccurate and illegal and a gross negligence on their behalf. This is also affecting my wife as well who is protected under the same law and would like the same resolution as myself.

    I am not liable for this debt with ***** ** ******** ********** **, I do not have a contract with Merchants Credit Burea, they did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.
